After seeing a majority of comments being positive about Luke Smith this thread is now only about one thing...
Getting Luke Smith to respond to his still devoted fans.
Bump until Deej and Cozmo see and force Luke Smith to reply.

3 RepliesTTK seems like a saving grace because it's what we've wanted since the pre-alpha footage. This is more what E3 of the game E3 hinted. The lack of content and maintenance within a game that costs collectively 95-$100 it's absolutely asinine. It's disgusting and makes it feel like the first year of Destiny was nothing more that a social experiment. TTK is going be amazing, but why couldn't we have this large, expansive, Dinkle-less world to begun with? It's very disappointing to see the direction of modern gaming, and the dependence and fragility of the consumer. Together, we've all allowed practices like this to live on. What Year 2 players get is, for the same price, a genuinely amazing game. And that's great for them, but it just pains me to see them rush this game so much and not just have released it as it is in year 2 for a 2015 launch. While the community has been here with amazing feedback, great artwork, streamers that adore their fans as much as they love him/her, and some great friendships to be made in the world of Destiny, it still wasn't the best. Developers should take pride in their work, and there is no reason to release anything but their best. I refuse to believe the latency, the filler, the voice acting, the cinematics, the initial drop rates, upgrade system, loot system, amount of content, crucible, exotic design, perks, lack of raids/strikes, and DLC present on disk was their best. It's good to see Destiny grow, but it's sad to see how it's growing is all.

I like him too; always have. I've been a Halo fan for awhile so I've seen the guy talk so passionately on every ViDoc he's been in. He loves this game and you can see it. All the old hands know who Luke Smith was pre-Destiny.

Throw money at the screen

7 RepliesThe "you would throw money at the screen" comment was just funny anyone who gets butthurt over text in an article is just on the prowl to attack Bungie with anything. Give it a rest you conspiracy theory nuts.

1 ReplyOf course Luke Smith will make Destiny into what we want but at a price. He will just resell us cut content. Excited about those new subclasses? Either cut content or unfinished game. ~TheGreatJanoski

2 RepliesEdited by WhoAteMyFunDip: 8/12/2015 4:12:54 PMLuke Smith is an anti-consumer piece of shit. He's an Activision yes man. And seriously, would it kill him to look like he showers more than once a month?
-
5 RepliesHe only wants you to throw money at the screen so he can buy more chili dogs. I don't understand all of the fawning over him. They are implementing a bunch of improvements that have been constant suggestions from players, and they are considered geniuses and innovators?

1 ReplyOP threw money at the screen

2 RepliesGame informer: is there a twist in this story? Luke smith: the twist is that there is a story. He earned some points for that line, but ultimately the only thing that is going to decide whether or not he can live up to his word is the taken king. He may have a good personality but if his game doesn't work then just personally won't matter.

I completely agree

28 RepliesEdited by TheMighty3X: 8/12/2015 7:35:26 PMHere's the thing about Luke. You get a guy like Andrew Wilson of EA, tight suit wearing, slick haired British guy who looks like he's not played a video game in his life and is only about the money. Then you get a scruffy, WYSIWYG guy like Luke Smith who talks the way we talk (because please don't tell me that you don't speak candidly to your friends and are all "professional" or "conveying a message" or whatever contrite bullshit excuse your mind is trying to come up with right now), acts the way we act, and people call him "unprofessional". F*ck. That. Give me a guy like a Luke Smith or a David Jaffe or SUDA-51 over a suit or a shill who's paid to say things to make people happy any day. Someone who's passionate about the things they help to create and unafraid to speak their mind in the haze of politically correct, socially inept, over entitled, over-sensitive idiocy that is modern online gaming and social media. He doesn't give a f*ck what you think, he's helping make a kick ass game with some "real gangster shit" and he knows that no matter what you say to the contrary, you're still gonna throw money at the screen and play it. So yeah, I'm on the bandwagon...and f*ck all you haters because your dumb asses are still here hating, making yourselves look like idiots while he looks like a f*cking genius with every new bit of info we get about TTK and Year 2.

2 Replies"Can you give us something to do in the loading screen?" "Do you like sandwiches?" "Do YOU like sandwiches?" "Uhhh, clearly" Loved that part of the interview
-
1 ReplyIts all activision. there the fags
-
The vault of glass is his baby and that's still the best pve content in the game, so yeah I like him.
-
4 RepliesHe said something that didn't translate well as something being read. I thought it was stupid to take offense to it then and I haven't changed my mind. As a consumer, I mostly care about how good he is at his job. There's way too much serious crap going on in the real world to care about what some videogame developer has to say.
-
1 ReplyRight away in the current interview I totally love him and see why you have to hear him and not read the print. He was totally being sarcastic with the throwing money at the screen comment and Eurogamer decided not to mention that.
-
1 ReplyHe just ruined Bungie's reputation however he's probably a nice guy
-
7 RepliesI play inverted that makes me weird omfg what do I do now
-
17 Replies-blam!- smith that asshole needs to rethink he's whole approach on discussing shit. I've never seen greed and that much smuck in a interview in my life. Granted wearing oryx ass like a hat was funny. But the way he handle the interview was awful. Also the dude that said he's guardian is better then master chief yeah go -blam!- yourself buddy.
-
I don't know him personally so I have no opinion on him.
-
Personally I thought his Eurogamer interview was fine and nothing to get upset about.
-
Agreed
-
2 RepliesI like him too, I think its awesome how he doesn't give a darn about acting professional & stuff. ;')

Tell Luke to fix the game we all love!
