Honestly there are 3 women I know that play destiny but at least half of the dudes I see on this game play as women and I'm just not seeing the point of that. Can someone clear this up for me?

3 RepliesIt's abnormal. Makes me cringe when I see it. Funny thing is, the female toon looks weak and unfit for the roll it plays. Not to mention they scream constantly when hit. Face it guys, your toon looks foolish. I'll stick with my thick and muscular powerhouse of a MALE EXO. *This post has nothing to do with females in general*
That dude runs as a chick so he can fill that void in his life.....
Maybe they like the dances? Maybe they like how the gear looks? Maybe they figured that the sex of the character means absolutely nothing and there is no reason to not have a mixture of male and female? People make exos and awoken and I'd be willing to bet that 99.9% of the people playing this game are neither.

I was wondering that as well

It's a game why not play something that you can't be in real life that's why I do it if an when I do
-
It's all a matter of personal preference and the individual's reasoning. Example: I like women, so I sometimes make a female in games, though I am a straight male, so I like to have my main be as close to the way that I am in real life so I can feel more immersed. Most people will say they make a female character because "Dat ass", but I've even heard reasons such as "The character model is smaller, and so the hit-box feels like it is as well. I play a female character for a tactical advantage".

It's a game, you might as well immerse yourself and try out different character combinations

2 RepliesWhy do humans play as awoken or exo?
-
As Samuel Jackson once stated, "It's my duty to please that booty".
-
Why not I'm going to make a warlock
-
We don't like starring at male asses for our game time
-
Why do people feel to make this post for the 100th+ time?

1 ReplyEdited by Bazooka Tooth: 8/9/2015 12:14:19 PMI have a female Titan because the look like hunters from any sort of distance with the right gear on. "Nah, we don't have to worry about that one, she's a hunter" *Dunk on their team* "ah sh!t...."

Edited by Zephiasco: 8/9/2015 1:36:59 AMBecause I'm a massively bent gender disorientated sodomite... Is that the kind of answer you're looking for by any chance?
The reason is because the option is there and people will use it, personally, I have a female Warlock because I think they look better visually than the Male Warlocks. Hope this isn't too hard to comprehend.
I didn't but the dances tho.
-
Don't know if I replied to this one yet. If you haven't noticed, a lot of women play male characters. A lot of men play female characters It's not rocket science.
