How are YOU preparing for The Taken King?
So this is just a thread to share ideas on how to prepare for the upcoming dlc...
Just post what you plan to do/ have done already, and see what others post
I'm just maxing out all my marks, so I will have 600 across all 3 characters, and making sure I have at least 200 of each material- only need a little more spin metal.
Also, completing 10 5000 xp bounties on each character, and when ttk drops, planning to use a focused light, and hand them all in- after the nightfall of course.
So how are you preparing?

im actually not sure - ive been grinding for the BTRD in crucible all week - but TTK will make it obsolete - so... im not sure what to do

Im working on grimiore and thats it. Finally got my last exotic (Necrochasm) yesterday so now there is no much else to do that doesnt feel pointless.

2 RepliesBy not playing and reading anything about TTK, because it's such a big expansion that you'd want to walk in it fresh and explore and have that initial feeling as you did with vanilla destiny.

Edited by Alias11: 8/5/2015 6:09:49 PMHave already gotten my rep for all characters ready to turn over so I can get packages right away, so that's Cryptarch, Vanguard, Crucible, Dead Orbit, New Monarchy, Future War Cult and even the Queen for 3 characters. The standard 10 5k bounties for each character, 200 of each material on each character, all marks maxed. Lastly, storing public event packages, I believe they are worth 5k xp each so I want at least 10 or so on each character that can be opened when TTK launches for the xp.
