Hello everyone. You may remember me from my, "Prove you can spell" post. Now, it's time for round two.
#Cosmic Ray particles travel 99.9999999999991% the speed of light and if one went at that speed towards earth, the planet would appear to only be 1 inch thick because the faster one is going the more it distorts depth

Edited by JayTeazyy: 7/21/2015 7:21:23 PMTime travel is technically possible, if orbiting a safe distance from a black hole. The space-time distortion it's Gravity has, Alters your relative place in time to where maybe if 1 second went by for you, 3 minutes would've passed by for a person on earth, of course this isn't fact, this is just an example relative to how close your orbit is to a black hole. Speaking of black holes, the largest found to this date measures 15k LIGHTYEARS across in diameter. That means a photon would take 15 thousand years to travel across the blackhole (even though the light in actuality would be sucked into it). To put this into perspective, light can travel fast enough to circumvent the earth 7 times per second!

3 RepliesEdited by DarthBrando: 7/21/2015 5:51:13 PMK firstly which cosmic ray particle (they vary in speed per particle and NEUTRINOS can travel MUCH faster and are a form of cosmic radiation) an how many angstroms or parsecs away is it from earth and who's or what's visual input is being used? To generate electricity all one must do is mechanically pass a magnet through a coil of wire. For the electricity its pretty dang elementary I know but at the same time for the past 250 years heres What we as a species have found an used on massive scale to generate power and still do; Hydro electricity (using movement of river to spin a dynamo aka turbine [a set of magnetic "brushes" spinning within an electro magnetic coil]) Coal burning to power a steam engine to turn a dynamo/ turbine Combustable fuel burning to power a crank shaft to turn a turbine/dynamo Nuclear radiation heating up steam to turn a dynamo/turbine Solar power stored in a battery converted to mechanical energy to turn a turbine/dynamo Solar radiation used to power a steam engine to turn a turbine/dynamo Wind power used to spin a turbine/dynamo So although all one must do to generate electricity is send a magnet through a coil, the above listed methods are the only general purpose adoptions of this ability through out humanity for 250 years! Why lol?
