Things that r now worthless
Maybe its just me but I have to ask why even do an public event anymore? Seems to me the big chest in poe always gives me shit so why should I care about keys? Asendant chards and energy in vog? yup I want some! LVL 28 strikes with 3 lvl 34s r about as much fun as a trip to the proctoligist

Basically most guns I wasted etheric light on are going to be worthless thanks bungie for making a mechanism to bring guns with us into how let us grind and earn that elusive etheric light for us to spend it on weapons and then a month down the line make all those guns we just bring up to 365 trash and junk making all the effort totaly wasted... Thanks.. Feels great bungie giving me the finger like this.

1 ReplyI still do public events because it seems I always have a gun in trying to level up. Here lately it seems I'll max out a gun. Then realize there's something I don't like and re-roll it. 1st public event of day gives quite a bit of xp towards leveling up gun.

Rangefinder on Shotguns in 2.0 With Felwinter's Lie, the base range stat is 20. Rangefinder currently gives a bonus of 20% range when aiming down sight. This increases Felwinter's Lie to 24 range while ADS. In 2.0, Rangefinder will only give a 5% bonus to range when aiming down sight. This increases Felwinter's Lie to 21 range while ADS. Rangefinder will give 1 bonus range when aiming down sight in 2.0, on the Shotgun with the highest range. If your range is 10 or less, there is .5 of a range increase, or possibly nothing at all. Everything else that is being nerfed will just be "not as good", but Rangefinder on a Shotgun will be basically worthless.

6 RepliesFusion rifles suck in pve. They don't have the damage compared to snipers and shotguns. The fact that they can't get critical hits is just plain absurd. Black Hammer well soon be useless due to the nerf thats coming in a month or two. Ice Breaker well soon be annoying too use due to the nerf thats coming in a month or two.

2 RepliesThe Public Events that are worthless are the original ones, the ones that just give you materials. Pure waste of time. The Wolves Public Event are worth doing, some times not worth dying over though. The problem I find with these, is that I can never seem to find them damn chest.

1 ReplyUnless you're hunting Grimiore or enjoy visiting the Crucible, this game sorta stops after you find all the exotics or weapons that you're actively hunting. Another game gets some attention at that point.

It would be easier and a shorter list if we just listed the things that are worthwhile.

It really depends on what you already have and what you find fun. For some people the chests are great because they can get Her Benevolence, which is one of the best snipers available right now. For others (like me) there is absolutely nothing in those chests that they want.

There's no ONE way to play the game. IF you find one part of the game boring or unrewarding...don't play it. I don't play the strike play list or the Weekly Heroic anymore.
