All you gally owners that are now crying about the nerf
You have no one to blame apart from your selves.
I and many others have been turned down from raids because i wasnt gifted a gally like you guys.
Everything in the game can be done with out gally,
But your all sat on your pedistool high and mighty because you were lucky enough to be gifted one from rng and treated every one else like peasents.
Its not that even big a nerf
BUT i do believe bungie should have added optional matchmaking so this cant happen instead of nerfing gjallahorn

8 RepliesI especially like how many gally owners are like NO YOU CAN'T CHANGE IT, I ***EARNED*** it. As if the huge majority of the community doesn't also have hundreds of hours sunken into this game. It's a very rare drop and most of y'all know at least someone who's looking for an exotic that just won't drop for them. I've had the Vex drop a bajillion times for me, but I know plenty of people who've done Vault just as many times who've never gotten it. I also don't delude myself into thinking I "earned" it, the RNG just gave it to me... a lot. It just amuses me how much people think a RNG = "earning it". You earned it about as much as you earn the winnings in a lotto. Yeah, you bought the ticket, but you didn't "earn" millions of dollars, an RNG gifted it upon you.

Gjally owners fault? I have a ton of Gjallarhorns but i never discriminated or left people out because they didnt have one. Its an exotic for a reason cause it supposed to be superior to other rocket launchers. Now groups who wouldnt take you because you didnt have a Gjallarhorn, they are just ignorant. Even back then you only needed 3 Gjallarhorns on Crota hard and the rest i could care less as long as you had the DPS to take him down and i could do my part and kill him with the sword. I got my Ghorn because someone killed Crota and i have been helping others since and still helping other now. Blame Gjallarhorn owners for the nerf? I dont agree with that but then again i dont have the elitist mentality either.

10 RepliesYou do realize that the nerf will have the exact opposite effect that they want it to right? Less damage means people will want an entire fireteam with maxed ghorn instead of 3-4, not to mention the people that will make "must have ghorn" posts now just to spite the whiners that got it nerfed.

1 ReplyI have a Gjallarhorn and played with many people who didn't have one in Raids and PoE. I never saw many lfg posts saying "Gjallarhorn" only. But when I did a second later a new post came up without it. I agree some people are just dicks and ruined it for themselves. But after the nerf and Taken King release, they will find a new ghorn, and will only accept people with that gun. People will complain and Bungie will nerf. The cycle goes on. Only if Bungie made other weapons that could compete with ghorn, and maybe this whole issue would disappear....

I got my ghorn within the first month of release. It stayed in my vault until about Christmas when my son freaked out cuz I wasn't using it. I was using my Dead Orbit one cuz it was maxed and I liked it. Since then I've maxed and used it, still not as much as other rockets tho. So this nerf doesn't bother me. I use mainly my one from the queen. So I didn't bring this onto myself but it doesn't effect me either way.
