Gally owners. You did it to your selves. Get over it
All you gally owners that are now crying about the nerf
You have no one to blame apart from your selves.
I and many others have been turned down from raids because i wasnt gifted a gally like you guys.
Everything in the game can be done with out gally,
But your all sat on your pedistool high and mighty because you were lucky enough to be gifted one from rng and treated every one else like peasents.
Its not that even big a nerf
BUT i do believe bungie should have added optional matchmaking so this cant happen instead of nerfing gjallahorn

6 RepliesLOL it was bound to happen. This is game with a ten year life span. Did anyone really think it wouldn't be nerfd regardless because of future weapons. It had nothing to do with players. With a game based on Reputation Points and Player gear, ofcourse your going to use the strongest weapons anytime you can to save time and gain max weapons and gear.... Nobody is trying to take 3 hours to kill crota or There sweet time to casually kill Atheon while talking life stories.. Use your brain. Stop being a brat.

Have 260 hours in this game and still have yet to do a full raid... One guy was nice to let me join a cp but after that it was either i have ghally or gtfo But i surprisingly had a good enough time with this game without doing raid

The sad thing is that you can beat the raids easily without it. I haven't done many raids at all (just got into it recently after starting to play this in June) and I've never seen anyone use a Gally on Atheon. It's helpful in Crota, but it's just as easy to just lead him a bit with a regular launcher.

Wasn't gifted mine, those strange coins took a lot of xurning, and fyi never refused anyone a spot just because they didn't have it. Don't tar everyone with the same brush. Now say sorry to all the nice people you accused of being elitist.

3 RepliesWhat's funny is your logic. You're over there crying victim because people don't want to waste their free time mentoring a inexperienced player. People don't play this game to go back to day one. Struggling through a raid cuz someone keeps dying, or hasn't obtain any reliable weapons. They've been there, they've done that. That's what you new players don't get. We were all new players. Yes, you will see vet players out there trying to carry new players. That's great. I salute you. Genuinely. I think that very cool. But other people have families, kids, jobs, school, wife, husband, ect. Their free time is valuable. They don't have time to struggle through a raid with a new player. How about you go through the same trials and tribulations we all did when we started instead of complaining? Every day new players buy this game. None have Ghorn. There is no shortage of people starting out. Go make a post in recruitment stating what kind of experience you have, what weapons you have, and who you're looking for. Request new players looking to do raids. I'm sure a flood of new players will be willing to run raids with you. God knows you aren't the only player making posts like this. Unite. Stop complaining. Run raids together. Hell, complain while your doing the raids. No one started off with a Ghorn in hand. Countless hours were spent grinding out wins. Getting drops. Being disappointed. And for what? For a new player to come in and say we are obligated to hold your hand? I hope you get a Ghorn. I hope you get 3. But you're going to have to stack up completions every reset. There's beta players who still don't have it. You got a long way to go before anyone takes your complaining seriously. The problem isn't players who have Ghorn. It's new players who want Ghorn but don't want to grind out all activities every week. All that crying got you a nerf. And the sad part about it is, by the time you get it, it won't even be the weapon you wanted anymore. So in a sense you will never really get it.

Dumb post... Nobody care about "Gjally" to do VOG. It's only at Crota and why ? Coz there's too much bad player to kneel Crota ! Unable to aim properly with a good sniper rifle, unable to aim his feet with a RL without tracking etc...

3 RepliesTrue. Gjallarhorn is used for every pve aspect. People know it overpowered. Bungie didn't nerf it before because people would cry. The thing is that bungie can't create good encounters without taking Gjallarhorn into account which cause them to make encounter hard for everyone. With a nerf they can create balanced and fun encounters with out worry of some people being able to cheese. Of course it was bungie fault but there fixing it.

Bungie shouldn't be mad at the players they gave us the choice to make our own teams and for ever now it will be this way if not with galli than another weapon will become the choice get over it and keep playing the game till you get the rewards!!!!

8 RepliesI especially like how many gally owners are like NO YOU CAN'T CHANGE IT, I ***EARNED*** it. As if the huge majority of the community doesn't also have hundreds of hours sunken into this game. It's a very rare drop and most of y'all know at least someone who's looking for an exotic that just won't drop for them. I've had the Vex drop a bajillion times for me, but I know plenty of people who've done Vault just as many times who've never gotten it. I also don't delude myself into thinking I "earned" it, the RNG just gave it to me... a lot. It just amuses me how much people think a RNG = "earning it". You earned it about as much as you earn the winnings in a lotto. Yeah, you bought the ticket, but you didn't "earn" millions of dollars, an RNG gifted it upon you.
