Will Black Hammer Be Crap Now?
So they're nerfing BH so that 3 percision shot refills magazine with ammo from your inventory. Further to this, they are giving it more ammo reserve.
Thoughts?

You can still continuously keep shooting bosses with no reload with the highest DPS damage, it'll still kill bosses easier than any other sniper and now with 18 bullets in reserve without any special ammo increase ammo buff armor. It's still a crazy powerful weapon, now you can't just camp there spamming non-stop bullets until the boss is dead. It's not so bad at all you can't adapt. Special weapon synth is your friend and it's really cheap and easy to get. It's hilarious to see people saying the Black Hammer is now going to be useless.

I've been trying to improve my accuracy with black hammer for weeks, so this nerf hurts, it hurts real bad.

Still going to be a good sniper just not as dominant on strike bosses.

It will still be a decent sniper rifle but it will pale in comparison to what it is as of today.

So 18 consecutive sniper head shots isn't enough damage to do in one sitting? Also picking up ammo is not hard.

I don't know tbh, how often do you hit more than 18 crits in a row? If you're answer is often then it'll be crap for you, for the terrible snipers out there it won't really change I suppose.

I've been using Efrideet's Spear the last couple months instead of BH anyways, but now that White Nail is being nerfed I probably won't touch it again; it was already a really situational rifle and now it's even more situational. Still a good rifle, but I could care less now.

Black hammer has the highest impact for sniping ! So for pvp its still a very great weapon of choice as for pve i would use a different sniper for burn damage

Aren't they removing the bullets from the black hammer to improve the recruitment on LFG for none black hammer players? Rip Black Hammer. They will never know the awesome that you were. May the noobs now find a fireteam, and be carried like a princess into victory

Nope. Will still be OP against bosses and enemies with huge crit spots, but now its where it needs to be. No more infinite crit mayhem.

No it won't be crap, but it won't be as amazing. I'll probably still use it for the same encounters, just not for as long (cause I'll eventually run outta ammo)

Yep, shit. I would never use it over my spear (solar) with field scout and final round in PvE now. Its a scrap heep gun for me

It´s one of the highest impact sniper rifles that will be able to pump 20+ rounds into a boss without reloading, stunlocking him all the time. It still has very good stability with perfect balance, no need for reloading if you are hitting your shots and you will still be able to do crazy damage in a very small time window. Have 2 BHs in your fireteam and you basically won´t notice the nerf...and special ammo is usually just around all the time if juggler is not on. There are really only a few more alternatives that would deal more damage. One would be the Solar Spear with Field Scout and Final round. But Spear still has worse stability so hitting crits will be harder than BH (only old spear can roll perfect balance and you won´t be able to use field scout) and it will need to reload. So yeah, you CAN run other snipers now. I didn´t mean to say Spear would be worse than BH (if anyone got butthurt). I´m just saying that BH after the nerf will still be a really strong legendary weapon for boss fights and I see no reason to stop using it.
