If you haven't seen it yet, I suggest you take a look. It's promising. An entire redesign of the quest system that can be accessed from the pause menu in game!!
You can also turn in any bounty from said pause menu!
The early designs look amazing and just the idea is such a step up!
I can't wait to see what else they're doing, it seems they're being less vague with us now and are finally just saying "We're listening, we'll make a difference". I can't wait for year two. I can't wait to see everything they have in store.
Edit: Thanks for the continued discussion guys. Appreciate it.
Over 1000 replies! If there's anything thst this has shown me it's that there are many people who enjoy this game and will continue to support it! It makes me happy I'm a gamer! Great end to a good weekend!

4 RepliesThat "update." Was not an update at all. An update is supposed to be something added to the game. In the present. Right now. Not showing off what'll be added in the future. They could've easily posted those images on on Twitter and it would've been the same result. Every single update I sit in my bed waiting to see something added in the game. And lately all I've seen is teasers of what'll be in the game later. I want something new in the game RIGHT NOW. THATS what your updates are supposed to be, Bungie...

1 ReplyExcept of all things they don't mention vault space
-
6 RepliesWhen you said 'pause menu'... >_> what do you mean 'pause menu'? There is no 'pause menu'.
-
3 RepliesMore gloss over crap. Same as all the others. I do like the stuff for the quests. I just wish they would get some shit fixed before they feel the need to hype the next pay to play dlc.
-
4 RepliesHe said EVERYBODY ran through raid hard mode for Fatebringer. Somehow, I'm doubtful of that. I've certainly never gone through a raid on hard mode. It'd be nice to see some new quests, but it looks more like this is just a UI for tracking them. Could be a pleasant surprise, but then again they have a track record of changing or adding things that are purely cosmetic instead of actual content. They're still withholding too much in secret, and I'm still curious as to how much people without TTK are going to be affected, such as being locked out of strikes or losing aspects of their DLC (as with TBD). Very cautious with these guys now.

3 RepliesTHROW MONEY AT THE SCREEN
-
5 RepliesIll admit that I've thrown as many comments at the wall as the next guy about doubting Bungies ability to prolong its initial offering in this franchise, but TTK better be as described.....or they will be filed away with other dead legends of gaming greatness to failure
-
3 RepliesLove it, just want more vault space for collectors
-
7 Replies...you're really, really hyped about what essentially boils down to: "We just changed our UI for menus." And "less vague" would be actually telling us what they have planned for: - Weapons balance - Bug fixes - Whether or not Prison Of Elders will be tweaked again - Whether or not we'll be able to ascend our Year One gear to Year Two damage/armor values. ... important stuff, basically. Not "We're giving our grindfest bullshit a brand-new paintjob to keep track of how you grind when you're grinding to get gear so you can grind while you're grinding! Whoo!"

1 ReplyYeah I'm ready see more now. Game should look more polished come September.
-
2 RepliesI liked the part where Deej being called out as a filthy casual as a community manager was addressed. Because that is sad.
-
2 RepliesYes i actually threw some money at he screen!
-
3 RepliesDidn't they say more bounty slots as well? It's about time! When they upped it last time they also released a ton of other quest lines.
-
5 RepliesThe current quests are way too shallow and simple for such an elegant quest UI. I *HOPE* this means that we'll see grandiose, elaborate quests in TTK with great narratives that warrant such an interface.
-
2 RepliesPeople only talk about the weekly and those stuff if they have something bad to say
-
11 RepliesToo little, too late, too expensive. Over and out destiny.
-
2 RepliesYour typical bungie motion They will release tiny bits and pieces one at a time to create "hype" rather than putting all focus on actual size of the content.
-
4 RepliesSo when does the new quest system coming
-
1 ReplyYes, it seems a good redesign. I can't wait for them to get in to the real things, like the balance mentioned in the update, new item system, etc. Ahould be fun Thursdays to come.
-
31 RepliesI love the update, the whole quest thing and the fact that you don't have to go to the tower/reef to trade in bounties is amazing!! Ppl can say what they want but they are constantly making this game better and they are clearly listening to us.
-
2 RepliesI'm still looking for the #sarcasm in the O'S post. This weekly fluffdate ignored every single point the player base has been raging about for months. Bungie aren't listening to us so why read their propaganda.

30 RepliesEdited by TeKnoVKNG23: 7/11/2015 4:11:22 AMSee this is what is so funny about the Destiny community. All of the interface changes they are implementing and have implemented since launch is all stuff that should have been in the game at launch. These are "basic" features that similar games to Destiny have been offering going back as far as 2005, lol. A quest log in your pause menu....tons of games had that as a basic feature going back to last gen and older system. Quest logs like this have been available going back as far as PSone games. They give us a helmet toggle for the tower and they want all kinds of fanfare about it as they talk about it in a weekly update. Being able to toggle head slots is a basic feature most games have had for a long time going back to the first Mass Effect in 2008... They add reputation trackers in the pause menu and want a bunch of fanfare about it as they talk about it in a weekly update. Again this is a BASIC feature that should have been implemented well before the game launched. I'm sorry but I just find it hilarious people slob over Bungie when they add in basic features that the majority of other games already have in them when they ship at launch. Bungie wants credit for very minor features that other games have as standard features, yet Bungie things they are a big deal when they add them in. Never seen a gaming company get so arrogant about their lackluster work/content.

9 RepliesEdited by TimboLextown: 7/11/2015 6:54:54 AMYeah no mention of anything that's actually important to improving the game, like -blam!-ing PvP WEAPON BALANCING. Same old, same old. I've seen nothing yet that's given me a reason to pay $40 for TTK. Nothing but smoke and mirrors so far.
-
Dude, get up off your knees, let bungie get back to work
-
A pity that they hid and just hoped we'd forget about some of the things we've been requesting for months.
