If you haven't seen it yet, I suggest you take a look. It's promising. An entire redesign of the quest system that can be accessed from the pause menu in game!!
You can also turn in any bounty from said pause menu!
The early designs look amazing and just the idea is such a step up!
I can't wait to see what else they're doing, it seems they're being less vague with us now and are finally just saying "We're listening, we'll make a difference". I can't wait for year two. I can't wait to see everything they have in store.
Edit: Thanks for the continued discussion guys. Appreciate it.
Over 1000 replies! If there's anything thst this has shown me it's that there are many people who enjoy this game and will continue to support it! It makes me happy I'm a gamer! Great end to a good weekend!

1 ReplyToo little too late. I'll judge when I see the actual TTK quest. For now, a new menu doesn't change how lacking the old quests are. Nice being able to redeem bounties on the go, though (unless i dreamed that and it's not happening)
-
2 RepliesEdited by Zoey: 7/11/2015 4:18:36 AMNo because we still have the issue of other countries paying far more than necessary for TTK, or the fact that TTK was stealth bumped from £28 to £40 and Bungie saying sweet FA about the matter
-
1 ReplyYea it's nice that we are getting an idea of what were buying....Should have been that way from the start. Companies these days make it impossible to be an INFORMED CONSUMER. But yea it was a nice weekly update. I'm not sure what's going to keep me playing until September though :/
-
1 ReplyIt is a step in the right direction and I like the new UI , but it very much depends on the quests they come up with and the rewards at the end of them. For me, whether I buy TTK is down to how much new content there is (and adding a few "new" enemies to existing levels is not new content). Tweaking the existing game is called a patch...

7 RepliesSo, we've been playing a beta for how long now?
-
2 RepliesEdited by SkintightJeebers: 7/11/2015 9:22:02 AMWeekly update: "Hey we know that there are broken weapons ruining crucible for you all and final round is running rampant in trials, we know that balancing is sorely needed but we honestly don't give a fūck until TTK comes out, GIMME GIMME GIMMME your money!!!"
-
2 RepliesLook, I play the game with friends. I hate the ever living shit out the game in general, but the gameplay is addicting. I like that they're adding this. I don't like that they're adding this now. I would've much rather had it in the launch. But....

4 RepliesGreat something that was carved out of the original game for DLC, thanks bungie, good job, glad to see how far activisions fist is up your ass.
-
1 ReplyThey said similar things about TDB just an FYI. I do really hope it is good, just not getting it at release
-
3 RepliesBut they said that they were going to do more multi-step quests in TDB, there were 2 and then no more after So I'm kinda sceptical
-
9 RepliesWhat about weapon balancing in pvp? I heard it's gonna be fixed in September right?
-
3 RepliesHow blinded by this game are you? Anyone with any sense can see through that crap. Thats something that should've been day one. Not day one of year two.
-
1 ReplyIf you look at the quests they are things we've already done. I'm at 3600+ grimoire I really hope I don't load the game up in September to find they have changed the HUD to show I've done everything already..
-
9 RepliesGee....it only took them like a year to listen to us. We should totally pat them on the back and hand over a ton of money right?
-
1 ReplyWaiting to hear about the special offer for digital guardian edition owners.
-
3 RepliesI agree that it looks cool, but it's not what's going to sell me on TTK. There needs to be enough playable content to justify the $40. That's it. We have yet to see.
-
1 ReplyAt least you are smart enough to understand that they didn't listen to us, and now that they are almost done with the beta, they are finally making the changes we asked for months ago.
-
4 RepliesI'd rather the raid from HoW but yea bungie is doing their best to make you preorder ttk
-
7 RepliesBy "early designs" are you referring to the ones they showcased as e3 in 2013 or the same ones they showcased in the 2015 weekly update a year after release?
-
8 RepliesI absolutely hate the idea of MORE quests like Bad Juju. I don't care to participate in PvP. It's a separate game mode from what I'm interested in, and it can stay that way as far as I'm concerned. I despised my time grinding for 10,000 points. It may have only taken a few hours, but it was still my being forced to play the game the BUNGIE way, instead of how I care to play it. Bad Juju is only for customers who want to play the "whole" game, rather than just one or the other. I am already against TTK because of it's pricing. If this is truly the way they plan to "questify" Destiny, then my decision becomes much easier and obvious.
-
1 ReplyI love the new changes they're making to the bounties' UI, only thing is that it's a shame we have to wait until TTK to use it. Until then, I can only wish I could have those improvements sooner...
-
13 RepliesGetting excited over options that have been in every other rpg since day one? That's pretty sad, i remember how people thought that the eris missons were so innovative when they were nothing more than glorified bounties.
-
1 ReplyI already knew we were going to get new exotic quests. But I really like how we can turn in stuff from a menu instead of having to travel to a social hub every time. Anyone else notice the subclass quest lines in the pics?
-
1 ReplySounds like how Destiny was originally supposed to be. But the Bladedancer Quest. Looks like we will never experience getting it in Quest form the first time we level it up.
-
3 RepliesNo because this community never recognizes bungie when they do something good. They are only here to tell bungie about how awful the game that they can't stop playing is
-
4 RepliesThat "update." Was not an update at all. An update is supposed to be something added to the game. In the present. Right now. Not showing off what'll be added in the future. They could've easily posted those images on on Twitter and it would've been the same result. Every single update I sit in my bed waiting to see something added in the game. And lately all I've seen is teasers of what'll be in the game later. I want something new in the game RIGHT NOW. THATS what your updates are supposed to be, Bungie...
