I've used it on Fatebringer already, I've just heard that the VoC is really good ascended, so wasn't sure whether to do it or not

Imo, hell yeah you should. But it comes down to whether u like the gun or not and if you need an ascended solar primary.

I did for my second (first was fate, also). No regrets. Great (best?) solar primary.

Was my number two ascension. Best Scout Rifle in the game IMHO and solar burn is a bonus. If you like scout rifles, do it.
