Making the switch from the One to PS4.
I'm really going to hate doing this grind all over again ,but I'm tired of missing out on content. Was always a PS player until the One came out. Anybody else make the switch? Just interested in seeing how many ppl moved over. This is not any console war BS. Please refrain from making this thread that way.
Edit: Any console dissing means you will be Muted. Urge commenters in the post to ignore these types of posts. Both systems are great in their own right. I'm moving to PS4 for Destiny.
Edit 2: Never thought this thread would get this big. Some ppl are switching to the One. All I got to say is...Whatever makes you happy system wise...do it. Both are great. Trolls are being muted as I come across their posts.

4 RepliesNot worth leaving a console for 3 guns on one game. At this rate xbox won this year solely off e3. Backwards compatible, can't wait to play halo wars again. It will only get better. I'd never restart for 3 guns and 2 strikes, 3 mpm.

I just switched the other day. Got my PS guy to 24. Still rocking a 186 damage green shotgun. Lol still got my Xbone though

8 RepliesThe truth of the matter is even though Sony destroyed at E3 with exclusives, the FPS community at large remains on Xbox. The PS community is more likely to embrace RPGs especially JRPGS. The later of the two makes me stick to Xbox.

I tried to switch but, after already playing the campaign 6 times I didn't feel like playing it again. But, I play every now and then. I also didn't feel like getting all my legendarys back.

I switched from 360 to PS3. I was diehard for Xbox. Then I got the ps4 and xb1. The ps4 is all I play. Xb1 is for halo when it comes out and if it sucks I'll sell it to someone. Right now it's a paperweight and a Netflix box.

Went from 360 to ps4 in November after I had grinded all the way to 29. I'm glad I did it though.

Save your money. Same game. A few extras are not worth redoing all your effort. Wait for the next console upgrade cycle to double spend your $$.

11 RepliesAlso you might want to stick with XboxOne until TTK releases only because of the 60 dollar thing that gives you everything. I suggested to my friend who is still on ps3 and didn't do the digital upgrade thing that gives you both versions to wait until TTK releases to up to PS4. Alot cheaper to get Destiny with both expansions and TTK with TTK edition of Destiny.

Now I would however buy a ps4 in the future with the motive of playing some of the exclusive just like what I'm doing on xbox (if it is on Pc, I'm gonna play it on pc). But never because of some pointless exclusive in Destiny. However that is totally up to you how you wanna spend you're money on and why :) I will definitely keep the xbox one so I wouldn't miss out on anything and enjoy both exclusives :D

I made the switch right before TDB came out, best move I made. Although I really miss all the original guns and equip etc. The grind and luck with drops was horrendous for me the second time around, but the fresh start kinda gave the game a little nice reason to play again
