Making the switch from the One to PS4.
I'm really going to hate doing this grind all over again ,but I'm tired of missing out on content. Was always a PS player until the One came out. Anybody else make the switch? Just interested in seeing how many ppl moved over. This is not any console war BS. Please refrain from making this thread that way.
Edit: Any console dissing means you will be Muted. Urge commenters in the post to ignore these types of posts. Both systems are great in their own right. I'm moving to PS4 for Destiny.
Edit 2: Never thought this thread would get this big. Some ppl are switching to the One. All I got to say is...Whatever makes you happy system wise...do it. Both are great. Trolls are being muted as I come across their posts.

True. However all of the previous content will come in a couple of months. As long as bungie keeps their word, I'll be patient and wait. I REALLY wanted that new strike though. That's a bit disappointing.

4 RepliesI switched briefly, but I came back to X1. My experience on PS4 wasn't too bad. I got kicked a couple of times from a raid group because I was level 31(VOG, I don't even want to get into it). But hey, it's all good. Might have to go back because my son recently asked to buy him a copy of Destiny(He's on the PS4)

1 ReplyReally bro? Im a day 1 PS player and not had ANY exclusive weapons drop. IMO strikes are awesome.. Dust Palace and Undying Mind(cant wait for them to go into rotation) but save ya $ dude. chill ya boots til TTK and see what PS actually get (and I'm a Sony fanboy!)

1 ReplyLol..so you're buying another console..and basically resetting your progress for a chance at what? One exclusive weapon with ttk, and an exclusive strike or two? Maybe some pvp maps? Definitely not worth it. I own both consoles, but I've played destiny on the one since it came out..the meager PS exclusives aren't worth it.

I don't think you'll regret getting a PS4, but I really don't think it's worth starting Destiny over again unless you're really craving a fresh start. The exclusive missions are nothing to write home about, and there are worthy substitutes for the exclusive weapons (plus they are very rare drops...it could be months before you see one). You're an odd one having been a PS guy and choosing XBox One at a time when the tide was flowing very much in the opposite direction. Out of curiosity, what was it about the One that made you choose it over PS4?

Sony stock trades at $28.00 a share and they lost $7 Billion this past year and grossed $68 Billion in revenue. Microsoft stock trades at $44.18 a share and they grew $9 Billion in revenue this past year. In 2014 they grossed $86.8 Billion dollars in Revenue. Stick with Microsoft man, it can only get better.

I personally don't think it's worth the switch. Do you really think you're missing out on much other than Hawkmoon, which Xbox gets soon? If I were you, let friends and exclusive GAMES be the deciding factor

4 RepliesDon't do it. Unless u have more friends on ps4. It's not worth the grind and the fact u gotta rely on rng to get most of your exotics again. If u could bring em over like gta v then go for it. Honestly if u don't have anything like ghorn or raid guns. Then ya, but that rng will haunt u.
