People fail to notice the difference between re-skinned AND BEING THE SAME -blam!-ING SPECIES. Of course he looks somewhat similar. He's Hive. Ffs.

No he means the actual new enemies that you see in the DLC. You see Thrall with glowing limbs, and glowing Cabal (Aka reskinned)
-
Those cabal have been possessed, what do you expect them to turn into monkeys?
-
Well they're till technically reskinned
-
And is that a problem?

Edited by SNC B Chill: 6/18/2015 7:13:10 AMIt's laziness to get ultimate profit with the least amount of work. On top of that we won't get anymore vault space and we will just have to re grind new re skinned weapons
-
Its not laziness. Thats the way they intended it to be. So what? If some god cane down and took over humans and transformed them differently (glowing, extra parts) would you say its lazy? You all whine too much and use "reskin" far too inappropriately. A perfect example of what was actually "reskinned" in this game would be the Timebreaker and Graverobber sparrow. Sameexact pattern, just different colors.
-
"On top of that we won't get anymore vault space" So let me just throw this right back in your face, "oh, so you've played the taken king all the way through?"
-
No, but I can read the Interview Deej did where he plainly states "Bungie has no plans to add new vault space in the take king" you're just plain annoying now.
-
I knew that, everyone did. I just imitated you by clearly ignoring fact and being cynical. I sounded like a dumbass didn't I? That's what I got from you. You understand now?
-
You're basing your argument off a viddoc, not any kind of game play, Bungie changed a ton and I do mean a ton of stuff from their original destiny viddoc to actual release, arguing with you is absolutely pointless, an official statement from Deej in an official interview isn't the same as footage from a trailer that clearly states everything is subject to change in it, you are the only one that looks like an idiot. Muted.
-
Edited by JayTeazyy: 6/18/2015 9:58:32 AMLike anything bungie says is set in stone. Another famous statement by Deej was "well the Mythoclast is a vex instrument frozen in time" and then what happened? Nothing is for certain. I'm also going on a whim to say that it's highly unlikely that bungie will undo the mechanics for the taken and reduce them to the same enemy with a different skin and nothing else to add. Sigh, but like everytime someone looses an argument the subject to muting the person who shows nothing but reason. Glad to return the favor and add one less dumbass to my forum feed.

They behave entirely different aswell...
-
Oh so they? So you've played the taken king all the way through then?
-
Edited by JayTeazyy: 6/18/2015 9:16:15 AMDid you not watch any trailers at all? Because if you did, you would've seen: -Cabal phalanx's shooting emergy from their shields and observing them, also splitting into more enemies -vandals making their own sort of ward of dawn -wizards shooting dense concentrations of energy instead of large volleys's -vex hobgoblins emitting darkness "missiles" that track -Cabal legions with mortars And that's not even the extent of it. I wonder how you were able to reply to me with your severe case of blindness and ignorance...
-
Ohhh so you mean like all the new enemies they showed in the dark below and HoW trailers but turned out, wait for it, to be re-skinned enemies yet again? Ingenious! I'm not blind, just not ignorant.
-
In no way we're the enemies advertised as "new", if there was Id love to see a source because to my understanding there is nothing that says enemies are "new". Maybe new activities, events, guns, and such. But new enemies? No. That's clear as day. The taken king has promised a new enemy type, and has shown re-textured enemies. However, these re-textured enemies function entirely different (besides shooting you in hopes to kill you) from their non"corrupted" counterparts. Different movement, abilities, interactions, and even weapon types are used. Atheon? Yes just a reskin. Undeniable. Crota? Just a translucent reskin. Undeniable. Skolas? Ehh, (opinionated) I'd say not as much. Oryx? Well I'd have to find out, but I know that some serious effort in making him atleast physically different was done.
-
No it's not being lazy, you're the one expecting a giant cabal legionnaire to turn into a monkey because he got possessed.
-
-
No I was expecting at least a new race, not the same enemies re-colored.
-
Then wait for destiny 2/3.
