Which class would be the overall leader in strategical on the front lines combat?
Edit: I choose Titans seeing how they have honed there battle senses much more then hunters and warlocks and are willing to stand up in front and not stay in the back
Edit 2: Please guys think of a reasonable argument why you have chose the class and why they would lead not list what they are or appear to be
Edit 3: There once was a warlock
Know as eyes
He was skilled but
By his friends he was dispised
For, a hunter
His best friend in life
Was his teammate
Good with a knife
A Titan joined up
And all were mary
For with all 3 classes
The team was quite scary
We ended crota
And most his race
The fallen ran
But our hunter did chase
The vex tried to fight
But came up quite short
The Titan killed them
While wearing skull fort
The warlock self rezed
Saving the team
And followed it up
With a grenade stream
And now you all know
No class is the best
For when we work together
We surpass every test
Edit 4: Following the poem I found there is truly no leader amongst us because each class has its skill which we cannot compare to and may never be able to

The vanguard Titan is already the commander of ground troops
-
I main my warlock, but I'd say titan because they have Kabr and his lore was badass.
-
To this, I answer with the Pujari-Wei ratio. Definition: Amount of time Warlocks spend planning battles versus the amount of time Titans spend winning them. :3
-
With Zevala as the example, i see Titans as the pragmatic type of battle planners or tacticians -- solid, stoic, and ready for a knock-down-drag-out fight to the death to defend all held dear at any cost. the others seem better suited for magical calculation, battle theory, and scouting or infiltration. also, we Titans can't exactly rise from the dead with Fireborn, so a Warlock may be inclined to take chances where a Titan would go after a sure thing instead and play it safer. idk.
-
Warlock because they would come up with the safest and most logical path. Hunters would just go invis and run ahead of the group and the titan would just tank through a group of enemies. Anyways if the warlock dies in a trap or something, he/she would just self res and find a new path lol

3 RepliesEdited by Cmdr X27: 6/13/2015 6:49:43 PMTitans may be the ones out front, but they'd be helpless without Warlocks to do all their thinking for them. So, who's the REAL leader between those two? Most acceptable answer; they're both leaders.
-
2 RepliesLoaded question. Of course most will probably think Titan when you ask for "strategical and front line combat". But there's more to leadership than strategy and front lines.
-
17 RepliesI mean, that's what the vanguard already is. The Titan vanguard is commanding front line fighting forces. The hunter vanguard is leading the scouting and exploration forces. And the warlock vanguard is overseeing the acquisition and understanding of golden age technology.
-
PUJARI-WEI RATIO: colloquial. The amount of time warlocks spend planning battles vs titans spend winning them. warlocks are the four star generals and admirals from afar, titans are the captains holding the line. hunters do their own thing. probably pranking warlocks, and getting that look from commander zavala every time a one bitches to him.
-
2 RepliesTitan because warlocks and hunters don't work well with each other.
-
I think warlocks would be good leaders as hunters and Titans could be the slayers..
-
The warlocks would make the best leaders but lack the charisma(depending on the warlock tbh) so even if they were to lead the hunter or Titan military leader would most likely be the front man with a warlock behind him calling the shots
-
Warlock or hunter wouldn't work since they would always fight, also isn't a Titan already the leader?:)
-
Titans already offically have that honor.
-
Titans might be the generals of armies. But warlocks are the "sophisticated" wise guys. They seem to be more fit to rule
-
Titans would lead. Their class is closest to a soldier.
-
3 RepliesWarlocks might plan. But titans would lead. No one would take orders from floating men in dresses....
-
2 RepliesHunter, nobody is better at reading a situation than a predator, which is what the hunter is. Also, the thrill of the kill motivates the hunter to exterminate his foes quickly.
-
Warlocks
-
1 ReplyI say warlock because they would have the knowledge and they don't seem like the type to run out to battle. The hunter would be the silent killer The Titan would rush it and destroy everything And the warlock would make the strategies
-
Warlock and hunter wouldn't be good because one would fight the other for leadership.
-
In a fire team you have to have a leader, or else you have people attempting one plan 3 different way. So a Titan would be the battlefield strategist. Relying heavily on a warlocks communion with the darkness, and a hunter to help them figure out the best route to take from one area to the next. Also the hunter to recon something and the warlock to help with support
-
Nova bombaz= Warlocks=Beast Mode
-
7 RepliesWarlock. They are the scholars who are the most knowledgeable. It isn't a contest of who is the coolest you think would do best, but who would lead you to victory rather than knowing no strategy
-
As a hunter, I feel like Titans would take the lead. Warlocks would be the strategists, and hunters would do recon and infiltration.

Edited by flexo95: 6/13/2015 5:23:33 PMTitans were the original guardians, the first born in the light of the traveller. Makes sense to have one as the leader, one of each class makes more sense though
