Way to rip off anyone not in the western world
So bungie, I know you probably have some bullshit reason for why your releasing it so late but hear me out, I once lived in America but no longer, and of course all your time pander to the Americans. But people in Australia and asian countries have to wait until 1 A.M. On May 20th to play. What the hell? When I woke up today i practically exploded out of bed in anticipation for it, but Nope, Im not in America so I'm getting fuçked
EDIT 1- Alright, now that jimmies have been rustled I wanted to say this was a point I forgot to make, HoW should drop at the time of weekly reset, that's fair

Time zones overpowered, Bungie please nerf! Seriously, that's what you're basically saying. Dumbass, you're getting the game at the same time as Americans. They wanted to wait to release it until their hours of operations so that they could have people present if something went wrong. I think it kind of sucks, but it was still a good move on Bungies part

The problem with everything you said is that Bungie is based out of America, so they are going to release it at the time that will work best for them. Along those same lines releasing it at 2am for them means that their staff is all very tired, and if anything goes wrong they could be at work for the majority of the night. Also just like any business Bungie has business hours for their staff, obviously they have some people working at different times then others but it would generally be pretty similar, and for the majority of the staff those hours wont be in the middle of the night.

American East Coaster at work here. 3 hours until I get home. Still can't play tonight because that's family time. I'll be on tomorrow morning before work for a bit. Just enough time to cash in my engrams and visit the reef for a tour. No real mission time until Friday...
