To the people who Xurned Thunderlord.
You all are what's killing destiny! I think I might just put down destiny for good now that all the Noobs have my favorite gun that i EARNED. If you Xurned it then you won't be in my raid team. If you Xurned it you won't be in my Trials Of Osiris team! Just know you're a scrubby noob that bought it from Xur.
Edit: the only exotic I ever use is gally. That's why none of my exotics has any kills.

People like you ruin the game. It doesn't matter if people bought it or got Lucky enough to get it. No is going to want to raid with someone who is gonna cry because they dont want people to have the same exotic as them. It doesn't matter how the person got it, just that your having fun. If you cant have fun and just play with people because there a cool person then dont play

Yesterday I was playing crucible we had a full team and was just owning every team we came up against. In our 3rd match we wiped the floor with them and at the end we see one of them on the losing team dropped the thunderlord so we checked it out and he was bottom with a kdr of 0.1 did he earn it?

20 RepliesActually, on the contrary. It's people like YOU that are ruining Destiny. Excluding and belittling people who gained the exact same gun as you, but in a different way. It makes absolutely no difference if you achieved it randomly through RNG or achieved it by earning Strange Coins and then purchasing it when Xûr sells it. No matter the path you took to get there, the result is the same, and you still have the same gun, and just as much right to it. Honestly, it's petty and downright pathetic to have a negative attitude towards someone simply because they bought a gun with Strange Coins they EARNED instead of getting it by playing an activity and getting it RANDOMLY at the end as an award. It makes no difference whatsoever, and the end result is the exact same, you both have the same weapon, regardless of the method you were given it.
