Why Don't U Share Heavy Ammo?
Don't you want your team to win? Why can't you wait another 5-10 seconds for your team mates to walk up to the box before you hog it all to your self and then get killed?

If I see red on the radar, I'm picking up the heavy without waiting. At that point it isn't even about me getting it, it's too make sure that the other team doesn't get it.

Those seconds could be the difference between you walk away with heavy ammo or your team be destroyed by fist of havoc or nova bomb blade dancer etc

1 Replyit's just common knowlegde that one guy on the other team grab's heavy and sprint's to the other crate with a fully loaded rocket.......do you really want to be the guy who stand's waiting for the 3 other moron's who did not hear the heavy drop.......do you really want to give out multi-kill medal's to the other team....if so then wait and die.

it's a super bad idea to have the entire team gather around heavy and wait 15 seconds for a rocket to slam the entire team in the face, or nova bomb, etc. Before heavy is about to come 9 minute mark make your way over to heavy and check for campers and guys just waiting to use their super on your squad. If you are close and on your way and there is no red on radar I will wait a few seconds but that's it.

3 RepliesAny good player will check their radar and look for teammates. If they're near by and your radar is not lit up with red just wait. Too any times I was very close to the ammo and one guy takes the heavy. I usually melee him or chuck a grenade to try and let him know what's up.

I wait 5 to 10 seconds, but if everybody is running by or I see a fast moving enemy on the radar, I may grab it to prevent being plastered by a nova bomb or rocket. Yes, just running up and taking it without even a pause by yourself is lame, but there are reasons to not wait too long.

I hate when people do this so yesterday I'm in a IB group got 6 one lags out and the next guy that comes in grabs all the heavy 2 times and goes 1 and 10 he had heavy and had a .1 KDR like wtf lol

I have died more than a few times while waiting for others, but if the choice is between just me versus a few of my teammates, I'll take the latter.

I wait until i see the enemy coming, if the others aren't there i'm going to take it just to stop the others from getting it. I think a guy was mad at me about that last night but he wasn't anywhere near last night when i popped the chest, all that was on the radar was enemy.

They claim the collect distance has increased but I reckon it's been nerfed, Spawned within 30 yards and while still running/jumping towards it I still cannot get close enough...Anyone know a rough idea of the proximity? It's even worse than before, less frequent AND is signposted with a blimp and time display you can see for miles. Brilliant.

Usually only grab heavy solo to troll other team

Wait 5 secs max if I see teammates running towards heavy. But they should just pick up if enemies appear on the radar.

I was waiting by the heavy at A (burning shrine) while 3 of my teammates decided that they needed to cap A first. I waited and then died from a rocket once they came over

If you wait to long your team gets killed by the or we lose positioning of the map

Edited by Odezur: 4/29/2015 5:06:43 PMMost of the time that I've tried to wait for team mates at the heavy I ended up getting Nova Bombed, stuck with a grenade, swarmed by multiple enemies, etc. I've made it a rule to only wait max 2-3 seconds for team mates. And if there's red before that, I'm grabbing it right away. Id rather grab it and prevent the enemy team from having access. They've extended the warning timer to 15 seconds for heavy so if you can't get there in that amount of time, too bad dude I'm picking it up

if you are close i wait, if you are not close thats too bad. the longer you wait the more you risk your whole team or most of your team dying waiting so everyone and there mom can pick up heavy with the new layout and countdown of heavy there should be no reason you are not there when it is ready to open when i play i tell my guys at 10 seconds to get their ars to heavy now or they wont get it

I often see people running the opposite way of the crate. So I curse the noobs that I'm playing with and open it.

I always do and if the enemy team comes I almost always save my super for just such an occasion.
