CHEATING IN CRUCIBLE! p.s. not teamwork
I was just in an iron banner game. Like any other game, all was going well. My team was up by 5000 points and we were going to win. That is, until the other team (mostly titans) decided to all use their supers (bubbles) one after another at one control point for the rest of the game. This game was at Asylum on Venus and they had an infinite, indestructible fortress at control point B in the middle of the map for the whole team. We could not kill a single player on the enemy team and that 5000 point lead was quickly overtaken and we lost 17000-20000. Our score never moved beyond 17000 and we lost a crushing and completely UNFAIR defeat. I am just wondering why this kind of thing is even possible? How are you supposed to win a match when the other team is virtually indestructible.
Is their anything Bungie can do to fix this problem?
I find it completely unfair because that team will most likely win every single match guaranteed. They would peek out of the fortress and unload their Last Words and then go back into the bubbles. You couldn't kill them because their shields would just regenerate immediately. You couldn't get close because some of the bubbles had the stun feature.

While this is an incredibly lame strategy, this is not cheering. It's easy to counter especially if you have a team with you. Don't feed them kills, make them come to you and use fist of havok or void bomb.

If you're winning by that margin and they pull that crap the best thing you could of done is stay at another zone and just wait for the timer to run down. I know that's boring and not how you play but at the end of the day they wanted to pull that crap so it's worthwhile.

That's why you go to the forums and grab 3 or four IB seekers. I've been in your situation, luckily I had a team to work with instead of charging in a million times

I came across a similar situation today. They won a game they had no business winning. The solution? Take orbs out of crucible.

3 RepliesWell that's just bad on your team. A single Golden Gun shot can pop the bubble and a Blade Dancer has enough armor to survive a charged titan melee. Nova Bomb and Fist of Havoc also both wipe out the bubble.

Seriously these are the worst posts in the forum. Instead of figuring out how to counter I'll cry to Bungie and hopefully they'll carry me. Why do you even play games if you're not willing to be challenged? Man up figure a new strategy and get back out there, enough with the tears.

Yeah dude just form a team of all warlocks and nova rain. I don't even play as a warlock and know this. Bungie tested this of course.

not cheating it's game mechanics, cheating would be more along the lines of what I saw today in IB today. two people on opposing teams following each other and not killing each other, sniping from the same spots the whole game side by side.

That just sounds like s good strategy and uncoordinated enemies to me, not cheating.

Did you and your team keep sacrificing yourselves to their bubblegeddon? Yes. Did you keep your distance and let them come to you( because you had the lead)? No. It's not cheating/ cheesing/ glitching or any other ing. Its a pain but you made your own fate, guardian.

Stay the hell away from defenders and their purple glory rooms in Control. This should be common knowledge by now.
