So think about this if there are 400 employees at bungie and they work 8 hours a day 16,000 total hours a week and they come up with one thing making helmets able to be worn in the tower? Really bungie? I mean c'mon I thought of that week one.
Edit: yeah I know not all of them are working on it. They should fix destiny 1 before working on 2

1 ReplyNot all of those 400 people write code. There are leadership people, administrative people, artists, testers, writers, SFX people, networking experts, etc. In other words, not everyone carries around a laptop and stops to write that perfect piece of C++ or whatever the hell they do at a moment's notice.

3 RepliesThat's apart of the next update. So not only do we get to take our helmets off we also get: - More vault space - Changes to PVP - Raid fixes - Options for colour blind people - The ability to lock your precious weapons And probably more will get added.
Sorry if I missed a new feature
2 RepliesEdited by Krazey Ivan: 4/12/2015 9:53:24 AMI dont want to wear helmets in the tower. I spent a lot of time trying to make faces for my guardians that I like, which is hard seeing as how the character creation options are so limited. I want to see them and show them off. Perhaps their time would be better spent making more and better character creation options. Bungie could do worse than take a look at Dragons Dogma on Xbox 360 to see a good example of character creation options. The ability to change our guardians look, race or sex without having to start a new one would also be good.

1 ReplyThe contract they have with Activision makes them have to work on both games pretty much. They want destiny 2 out by next year

21 RepliesEdited by Guardian0605: 4/12/2015 6:34:33 AMNot all 400 employees are on the development team. In fact I would be surprised if 50% of them were. As for your edit as to why they are working on Destiny 2. Just about every developer takes their primary development team and puts them on a new project soon after release of a project and have them start on the next one. Bungie signed a contract with Activision to produce 4 games in 10 years. That may sound like a lot of time but its really not. So they will have to divide their resources between multiple projects. Frankly I think Bungie has done a pretty good job supporting destiny after release. Could things come out a bit quicker, yes of course. Could there be more content, of course. But I also understand that they can only work as fast as they can and we don't know what else they have planned and how difficult production of this content actually is.

People will start buying exotics/legendaries for the looks in the tower

1 ReplyMy view on what they're doing is focusing on easy & minimal changes to try and keep us interested, even though such changes don't really improve our enjoyment. Probably saving the release of larger changes for July-Aug when we're in the same position we are in now

1 ReplyHelmets in the tower? That's what's hot on the streets now?

1 Reply600 employees, breh.

1 ReplyThey probably can't be bothered to give us a hairdresser so instead they just give us the option to cover our ugly mugs.

7 RepliesThe game is only 7 months old. They have many things to do and it could be better. Current options are to play the game as is or dont. But it will get better and the options will only increase as far as content and cosmetic choices. Give it time.

13 RepliesReading a lot of replies you give to logical conments you obviously don't know what you are talking about. Try editing one thing on 4 consoles. And sure every bungie employee is a dev and sure all of the devs work on Destiny bugs. It's like saying any mc donald's employee is making burgers.

2 RepliesEdited by calvin: 4/12/2015 6:25:55 AMWell the whole staff of 400 at bungie won't be working on the next update there is still house of wolves comet the third dlc future updates and even though there are 400 people not all of them are developers there are people in charge of artwork and community like Deej And unless you could do better I deem your argument invalid

6 RepliesEdited by VIC: 4/12/2015 5:09:11 AMConsider that out of that employee pool, there are teams working on four separate platforms (PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360). Not only that, there are probably teams that have limited, if any, involvement in production. This number likely also includes administrative positions, recruiters, etc. With that in mind, the large number in your head isn't as large as it once seemed.
