The numbers 4, 8, 15, 16, 23 and 42 frequently recurred in Lost. Each corresponded with one of the final candidates to replace Jacob as protector of the Island. The numbers also formed the coefficients in an equation that predicted mankind's extinction.
History
Jacob and his brother, the Man in Black, lived on the Island for over two thousand years. During this time, the two engaged in a rivalry over the nature of humanity. Jacob brought people to the Island in order to test them and prove his view right. However, when it became clear that his brother planned to kill him, Jacob had new reason to summon castaways - to protect the Heart of the Island after his death and to kill the Man in Black. ("Across the Sea") ("Ab Aeterno") ("What They Died For")
Before drawing them, Jacob observed these candidates using a lighthouse. The lighthouse's mirrors displayed a different candidate's life with each degree that its dial turned. The numbers 4, 8, 15, 16, 23 and 42 corresponded with what turned out to be the final six candidates: ("The Substitute") ("Lighthouse") ("What They Died For")

This would make things worse by literally giving the retarded little "classist" argument merit, which has none. Dear god. This place.

7 RepliesNo... You sound like a damn fool... What would this accomplish? So you can inspect peoples character and see that they bought their weapon from Xur? So you can talk smack to people for not waiting for RNG to work right?? This is the kind of post that should get you kicked off the forums. Its not productive, its not relevant, and furthermore it is childish and ignorant... Go away.

Why does the community care so much about virtual guns?
-
Yes I love this Idea When Xur Sells Gally It Will be black It will look beast Also will ice breaker
-
I think being able to "shader" your weapons would be awesome! Rerolled weapons through Xur that were black would be pretty cool too.
-
1 ReplyI like this thought. Doesn't change anything, yet shows who received it as reward and who Xurned it. Idk why anyone would have a problem with this... Same weapon still
-
Why? Why does this even matter to people? Who cares?
-
I like it
-
I would love to have a set of all black armor with black weapons. That would look sick.
-
Why would anyone care how someone got thier gear? What does someone's elses gear have anything to with anybody else? If you have to be truly a Snowflake Douche Lord, then color Xur's gear the color of money: for the strange coins earned to purchase the gear.
-
If it really is that big of an issue then Xur should have set A exotics and RNG has set B exotics. Shaders for weapons would be sick though.
-
Please get off the forums......... Thank you and have a splendid day!

4 RepliesYes Bungie could do that as a big -blam!- you to everybody who buys from Xur (95% of the player base I'm sure) to appease the 5% elitist assholes on the forums. Basically saying that Xur weapons are inferior and you should be able to quickly know if you have an opportunity to look down on and talk shit to someone. Stellar idea, bro.
-
4 RepliesMy god, some of you nerds are just insane with snowflake syndrome. Lol damn
-
This is a terrible idea, I mean really terrible, for no other reason than that I want all my weapons and armor to be black so this would be great for me and I'd go out of my way to buy everything from Xur so that everything I had was black. So it's terrible because it doesn't accomplish what you're suggesting at all, even though I would personally love this (and any other way to change my weapons/armor to a proper color, which I can't currently and it's really pissing me off).
-
i dont like this idea
-
1 ReplySo you are saying that you want to segregate the blacks??
-
1 Reply
I've seen this idea on the forums before I thought maybe I should bring it back up What if Bungie made it so all exotics you bought from xur were black with no coloring and the RnG exotics you find have full color I think this would pretty much end the "You guys suck because you bought that exotic from xur" Talk Edit: lovin the animosity and hate from the forums today. No I wasn't trolling
Bro your mom is almost home- hurry up and get the pizza out of the oven-because you ain't staying in the basement for free- gotta do some work.
-
Wouldn't it then be Black Death?
-
5 RepliesI would love blackened weapons... Holy shit gjallerhorn would looks sick as all black!!!
-
Wouldn't that make things worse? Everyone would trash talk those with black exotics saying they xurned them... ya know? I could be wrong.
-
1 ReplyHe was just giving an idea, didn't ask for your negative comments just feedback, and by the looks of the forums this is exactly what we would need to keep everyone happy, if you disagree then say why don't be a dick about it
-
1 ReplyI think any food you buy should be black while food you grow should he normally colored. Does it matter? A gun is a gun, it's the person controlling who matters.
-
Where's the #satire?

1 ReplyWho the -blam!- wants a black no land beyond lol
who the -blam!- wants no land beyond
