Xur weapons all black?
The numbers 4, 8, 15, 16, 23 and 42 frequently recurred in Lost. Each corresponded with one of the final candidates to replace Jacob as protector of the Island. The numbers also formed the coefficients in an equation that predicted mankind's extinction.
History
Jacob and his brother, the Man in Black, lived on the Island for over two thousand years. During this time, the two engaged in a rivalry over the nature of humanity. Jacob brought people to the Island in order to test them and prove his view right. However, when it became clear that his brother planned to kill him, Jacob had new reason to summon castaways - to protect the Heart of the Island after his death and to kill the Man in Black. Before drawing them, Jacob observed these candidates using a lighthouse. The lighthouse's mirrors displayed a different candidate's life with each degree that its dial turned. The numbers 4, 8, 15, 16, 23 and 42 corresponded with what turned out to be the final six candidates: ("The Substitute") ("Lighthouse") ("What They Died For")

If exotics bought from Xur were colored black then I would only want the exotics that he sold. A Black Suros or Thunderlord, a Black Hard Light (lol).

I think it would be a cool idea just to see them look different, not to judge people over something so insignificant.

It would not solve the problem, it would increase it. You have no way of knowing at first glance if someone bought a weapon, and now you would have a way of knowing. Now people can prove and criticize you with complete proof.

Every weapon I have purchased from Xur I have later received from RNG. Many 4 or 5 times. It really doesn't matter.

Why would it end it? It would point it out and it would be worse. Exotics are exotics, who cares how you got it? Only snowflakes really want something like this in game.
