Please tell me this is an early April Fool's joke...
Four extra Vault slots for armour and general items? FOUR?! And only sixteen for weapons? What...the...hell. Why even bother updating if you're barely going to add anything? That will not help in the slightest.
Call me crazy, but when they said 'more vault space', I thought it would actually be something useful. Like, a minimum of 100 slots for each type. Adding four (yes, only four) extra slots is nothing more than an insult.
I seriously hope Bungie are kidding.

NOT TO MENTION engram hoarders like myself... With guns... I'm so limited and restricted And I shouldn't have to switch back weapons from storage on my characters inv... Everything should fit in vault. P.s. and what if I want more than 1 or each gun (I never want a 2nd lol but most do)

I thought this too. Maybe they'll say "April Fools, the vault is really doubled." But it will probably be, start Destiny and get an online chess game.

I don't think there should be a 100 but there should have been more added to the general section since that includes ships, sparrows, shaders , materials, synths etc.

I agree with you. To all those who say delete stuff... I say stop telling me to delete loot in a loot based game. We are not the problem here. The pathetic vault space is.

Bungie, with this game has been more reactive to try to improve their game based on the suggestions of the players than any other game I've seen...and all people do is cry, cry, cry. My god people really? Why would you need more than what they are upgrading to? Really??? Who floods their vault with armor, and more importantly why? The weapons are the real issue and now there will be adequate space!

Dude just chill out. They will get around to it eventually. I bet Bungie has more important features in the game to be working on than just vault space. Also you have nine slots on your character to store stuff for all you pack rats out there. I have a empty vault Bc once I get something better the other piece gets turned into glimmer and weapon/ plasteel plating.

They could be adding nothing at all, but you guys choose to -blam!-ing hate them. They release an update a week, and work hard to keep us happy. There are millions of people suggesting things for them to implement, and it's hard to look at all of those things. Be grateful that they released a great, addicting game and that they even update it at all.

Lol I have 2 VoG armor sets and 2 CE armor sets, 1 lock and 1 titan, and the only thing I keep in my vault for armor is titan marks, I still have 2/3 of my armor slots left.

16 RepliesPeople seem to be in two factions, one thinks the vault space given is inadequate, the other is grateful/don't care about the space. Then there's me who seems to be the only one who realizes these updates are a slap in the face to everyone's intelligence. Almost ALL their updates show's Bungies either lack of critical thinking or their backhanded tactics. A SMART development team with the goal of making Destiny last more than a few months would know with the various DLCs and loot that it's gamers would need more vault space than what we started with. Or the need for chat in the crucible or the ability to use the app along side the game. Or checking your faction rank without returning to the tower. Or a better HUD and different shader stock. I just don't see how some of this stuffed missed launch, with a highly regarded beta. 5 years to develop the ability to use heavy ammo properly.

I don't care too much about armour as, apart from raid gear, I just delete armour that doesn't let me reach max level, but guns are situational and more space is sorely needed. I can even work around the limited mats etc, but to add so few spaces for guns is terrible.
