Felwinters, thorn, and jolder's hammer
Name a better crucible weapon loadout.
Pro tip: you can't.
Edit: pro tip: if your weapon loadout differs from this I'm telling you you're wrong based on the maps. Almost every map favors this set up.
Edit 2: I'm currently in possession of a superior gaming device and subsequently am not in possession of hawkawesome. I'm sure it's a great gun.

I ran that loadout on IB once I could buy Jolders hammer. Fn destroyed and ran i today was fun as hell.

4 RepliesI used many different weapons but I noticed skilled players using The Last Word were brutally efficient. Now I think the TLW was the best primary for skilled player. However Red Death seemed to be a tough weapon to outgun. I was running Thorn, PR sniper and Against all Odds. I did decent most games, except last night.. Had some rough ones where I seemed to catch the lag bug. It's funny how ARs were practically non existent this IB. They really screwed up the weapon tuning. Oh and let's be honest scouts need some loving next go around. Or map size needs to be addressed.

7 RepliesIf you're insanely good with the combo, then Last Word + sniper can be way more deadly. The things I've seen people do with last word far outclasses anything thorn can do.

Without Mark of the Devourer it is a strong Hand Cannon in its own right. With it, however, it is a little overwhelming, having one of the most competitive TTK across all ranges. My main issue with MotD is not the DoT itself, but that it delays your health regeneration. In a game as fast paced as Destiny, it makes it very difficult to continue a streak after an encounter with a Thorn user, even if you win it. Red Death may keep you alive, but MotD still cuts its regeneration short, making you easy pickings for a team mate of the Thorn user to finish you off.

Who is Jolden? ¶: That is a nice setup though. Lots of people will switch out Thorn for Red Death (life regen) or The Last Word (speed shots). Hawkmoon is pretty awesome too, great fire rate and all those lucky bullets can do lots of extra damage. Some people swear by Bad Juju now that it's gotten a damage buff. Those seem to be the top 4 exotic primaries I see on ps4.

You are correct sir. Live the load-out. Mines good too on my Warlock. Miss the enemy with a Gally the trackers will kill him immediately. Ghelion's Demise and Felwenter's Lie are totally different. Lol
