My Crucible K/D is bad because....(post your excuses!)
As a Defender Titan that doesn't get kills with a crappy bubble, or crappy suppressor grenades, or crappy melee that doesn't have the range of the warlocks' or lunge of the hunters', my ability kills only makeup 10% of my total crucible kills.
Pure weapon skills! No super or good grenades to combine for 5 or 6 extra kills a match and bail out my k/d!
What's your excuse?

1 ReplyPlaying with randoms. Even then, I maintain a 1.5+ K/D. Whenever i play with a team in a team based playlist, my k/d jumps up to 2-3 or even more. However, when I play with randoms, not only do I almost always lose, but they drag me down because I'm forced to fight multiple people by myself at a time because my scrub teammates can't kill or provide cover fire.

Because I don't team up with others and lose the momentum all the time with scubs. It's one thing to have to carry but when your boys get mowed down like nothing and put no shots in a 2v2 or 3v3 gun fight. And when your boys lose they're heavy you better be ready to take out they're whole team or its over if they have a monopoly on the heavy

Mostly because I don't care for PvP, and haven't for a long time (personal reasons). The only reason you find me in there is exotic bounties, and for marks so I can spend my crucible commendations I get from leveling factions.

Ground out the PvP trophies (including max weekly crucible marks) as much as I could early on. By the time I started getting good my K/D was like .6 and I didn't feel like trying to salvage it. Only do PvP now for marks and exotic bounties.

Lol due to improvementvand well just not taking it serious all the time ( playing with new weapons) and letting fam mess about in there my k/d is all over the place from one game mode to the next across all 3 characters

I'm just bad at pvp because of the maps and such. I have been enjoying it lately just having fun. Really want Thorn but I am probably never gonna get it.

I'm just awful at it haha. Crucible is my first experience of a pvp environment and it's definitely not my thing! I enjoy it but I'm awful.

1 ReplyI hardly ever play PvP, and when I do I use my Hunter. Hunters apparently have zero armor, because everything seems to shred my hunter in 1-3 shots, while every other bastard I encounter has like 2-3 layers of armor. I use fully upgraded auto rifles, scout rifles, pulse rifles, snipers, fusions, etc. I get owned, bottom line. I guess I should start using shotguns or hand cannons, but that's never been my thing. I was pretty good - not great, but capable, playing COD. I have no idea how to improve here. I have no idea how to complete my Thorn and Invective bounties.
