As a programmer and a hobbyist video game developer, looking at how destiny accomplished their networking along with assuming they went with networked collision handling, I'd say they did a really great job on their networking from what I can tell. Also considering that it's designed to also work with console specific instructions like parties or voice chat, they did a really great job. If you're having issues with being kicked constantly then it could be a number of things that would cause this issue. For starters having a slow connection speed will be the most obvious, secondly being behind a VPN or a router that is buggy is another. There's also the consideration of what all is going on within your own network. Remember that packets are being sent and received constantly and with some or most routers, packets are put into a stack which will be handled either as they come in or randomly. So if there's just not enough packets being sent and received from/to the client (you) within a reasonable amount of time then why waste the energy and resources on a stream that isn't going to work at all? I'm not saying you're wrong off the bat because when it comes to networking it's a realm of its own but be considerate and not jump to aggressive tactics when trying to communicate with others.

U have to be kidding??!!!! Trions severs for defiance were a laughable joke! I remember countless times when I had to delete and reinstall the game just to get the daily 50 hot fixes they were doing. It was the most frustrating thing I have ever experienced. If ur having so many connection issues it may be on ur end. I'm not saying tht for sure but u may want to check
