Ghorn's "proximity detonation"
Fellow ghorn users, you probably know that ghorn has a hidden prox. Detonation perk because of wolfpack rounds. This can be usefull and it can be really annoying. Recently I did a Crota hard CP and when the ogres came out, I was standing on a doorway, my ghorn rocket blew up in ny face and I died.
Bungie, you can fix this or make it an actual perk for ghorn.
EDIT: Wolfpack rounds not activating on rocket impact is another thing to consider
EDIT: People saying that this happens with Truth as well, of course it does because that is actually one of the perks

1 ReplyYeah when I first got my ghorn last week, I killed myself QUITE a few times finding out that hidden perk exists. Boy did it PISS me off at first killing myself so much and looking like a noob with ghorn(which I was since I just got it). I have already adjusted, it's just stupid you have to be so much extra careful because of a perk it shouldn't have.

It's called a hidden perk for a reason

It's actually explosive rounds, not proximity detonation..... Explosive rounds don't actually touch the target so they explode a little bit in front of the target, giving the appearance of proximity detonation but it isn't, or else my ghorn would explode beside the guy who dodged it when he jumped (he barely dodged it)

That is why I use the Hunger over Gjallahorn because of the proximity glitch...

Killed me in the nightfall this week. I was up on omnigul's catwalk and shot just as she screamed and a wizard spawned next to me. Super annoying waiting for a revive

Don't zoom in. Hip fire it and you'll be fine. The thrall behind you that makes the warhead blow up in the tube is my favorite.
