why do 32s hate 31s?
Ok i have crota cp on hard and im lvl 31 got there by 3 32s and 2 other 31s but they leave or whatever plz someone help me?

Edit 3: holy cow nipples batman so much replies i see that some 32s are fighting back with evidence it's just crota cp that use 31s could possibly 0.1111111111111111111 chance of beating from fresh to death singer thats all 31s can do
Edit 4: I have a question if i did hard first (i know the chests wont be there on normal) but non chest loot like lamps going into the light, crossing the bridge, killing the deathsinger, killing crota will i get loot or wait for weekly?
Edit 5: I have crota hard cp if interested so... Let's see if im good or not according to you 32s ;) and let's bring 1 31 aswell up for it?

I have never kicked someone for being a 31 in crotas hard raid. 30s we drop them in a heart beat lol

31 RepliesI've been kicked all week for being a 31. Even with a gally. Haven't been able to kill Crota on my hunter because of this. Had to do it on normal (dropped the helm anyways so oh well) but it's just frustrating. I've never been the cause of a wipe as my hunter. if you have the proper gear and knowledge you should be fine. If you NEED a group of all 32s to beat him then you need to practice more.

3 RepliesThere should be a "31's only" hard mode raid lfg thread for all the butt hurt 31's. All 31's mad at 32's can go there. Lol No 31 will go there, cause they know LEVELS MATTER.

I have 2 32's and 1 31. I do not do hard crota with the 31. I would feel bad trying to shove my under leveled character in a lvl 33 boss fight.

I don't mind running a 31 in hard mode except when we reach crota. He can do all of normal mode first and he gets Abyss-Deathsinger on hard. Before Crota I kindly ask them to leave.

My hunter and titan are 32, warlock is 31, only thing stopping my warlock is bad rng, now would I be accepted into crotas end hard mode?

Dont hate 31s it just shows they dont have the dedication to get it done. Often quit when they cant beat stuff first time. I have no issue doing strikes and anything except Hard Crota raid with 31s. Even 31s in Crota if they have a main 32. If you dont have a 32 stay out of the hard raid til you have one. You can get all raid gear from normal.

I assume if you aren't 32 by now, you aren't experienced enough. Maybe if you explain that you're just unlucky and you have maxed what raid gear you do have, then I'll play with 31's.

Most efficient way to beat CE HM is with 32 and Jellyhorns. MOST EFFICIENT, don't be jumpin down my throat cuz elitest b.s., it's completely possible to beat it with any number of 31's. Not as efficient

The leveling system is atrocious. 30 one day, 32 the next dlc, and 34 after that... I mean what is this crap? Max level only accessible by raiding? Really? I feel bad for pve only players because you can't have your end game unless you roll the dice for rewards. Its just stupid. Once you get to a certain level you should be that level forever. If bungie wants us to grind there's better methods than this.

It's just the game mechanics. 31's can do the raid ( just like how VoG could do it as 29's) but you contribute less compared to others. Case closed

Why take a random 31 into a raid when there are so many 32's? Why do people keep discussing this? Just run normal mode until you're 32. I can understand you don't have the time to play Destiny, but don't expect randoms to carry you. If you really want to do hard mode on your 31 then I suggest you find a group to raid with on a regular basis. They will do it, we do it all the time.

You need to let people know what console you are on. That's pretty helpful You need a 32 sword runner at least one 32 with a great rocket launcher One 31 one boomer duty One tapping crota with a scout rifle and the other 2 players with great rocket launchers Ghorns are the go but it can be done with other rockets, It takes 3 ghorns to take crota down from full shield

I just ran sword on normal mode for a group on all 31s that had never beat crota before on NORMAL. Took a few more times than it should to figure out which weapons they needed to bring down his shield and I started dropping the sword, shooting a ghorn rocket and then going, but i had fun helping. There is absolutely NO REASON at this point to be a 31 if you have been trying. The drops on ce are ridiculous, people get full raid gear on 1 play through and they've had iron banner gloves. Basically, if you are still not 32 at this point, it doesn't make you a bad person, you just aren't that into destiny and shouldn't be trying hard mode.

Ran Crota on Hard multiple times with my 32 hunter and I won't go into a Hard Crota game with either of my 31s. It's not hate, you're just not the right level for the raid. You deal 40% less damage and take 40%. Most of the time people don't want to carry someone. I know when I play it's only for a little bit and I'm not trying to get slowed down by people on light levels not recommended for whatever raid/nightfall/etc that I am doing. Just run Crota on Normal until 32 and rank up Eris.

Idk about the 32 crowd... I know I hate my own 31 since I've been stuck at 31 for the past month due to not having enough shares and getting only energies off my last Crota run! And I can't get into a hard mode since nobody invites a 31 =( But it's all good, need 4 more shards to 32, so hopefully by this Tuesday I'll hit the mark.

As long as they have good maxed out weapons 31 is fine by me. The problem was created by bungie. You can hit 31 and never have done a raid. And these people are joining groups with crap weapons and no experience making other 31s look bad. How do you determine someone knows what they are doing? If they are 32 you know they've at least done most of the raid.

By now if you play the game long enough each week since CE came out to be able to finish CE there is absolutely no excuse to not being 32 no matter what caless all you need is an exotic helmet and all the gear.

Because you guys do 20% less damage than 32s who do less damage during the raid because it's a 33. Not to mention you guys are weaker in armor. It has nothing to do with how skillful or any of that bullshit. Your just not as buffed up as a 32. Even if you are a 31 and beat it. Congrats. I'm not saying you are bad in any way I'm making a fact that you don't do as much damage therefore people would rather have 32s. Simple as that
