If Xur sold Gally then alot of Gally owners would be mad....but why? You only got it because of RNG not skill
I see week after week posts about XUR SELLING GALLY THIS WEEK CONFIRMED...and in it every time i see some people who have Gally are like I WILL QUIT IF HE DOES.
Why though?
Only reason you have Gally is because RNG was gracious to you at one point and time....RNG has nothing to do with skill, it has nothing to do with time played, it has nothing to do with anything except RN.
Please if you are a complainer give me a good reason that it is bad to give everyone a Gally. And I already know the main response will be: IT WILL MAKE THE GAME TOO EASY. My response to that is THEN BREAK YOURS DOWN TO MAKE IT FAIR AGAIN, YOU ALREADY HAD A CHANCE GIVE SOMEONE ELSE A CHANCE WITH IT SINCE YOU WERE ONLY BLESSED RANDOMLY AND NOT REWARDED FOR SKILL

This topic has really gotten out of hand. Even IGN has decided to make a video on the topic. I wish Bungie (#DeeJ) would go ahead on comment on it and end this endless debate. If Bungie believes that everyone having the chance to buy Gally would break the game and deserve a nerf, then they at least should explain that to the community and be upfront about it. Or if they don't believe that is the case, then again, say that and put an end to all this.

I think It's more satisfying trying to get it without buying it..if it comes up for sale again. But on the flip side some people have really bad luck so why should they miss out on a chance to get it.

Yup, i got lucky. I hope everyone lucks into one. I wouldn't mind if he sells it either. Then it's a matter of prioritizing your other weapon slots per the situation. Finding a suitable replacement for your favorite primary or secondary exotic can be a pain when you want to also equip gjallahorn, but i'd bet that it's a pain most people would not mind.

So I finally picked one up this week after playing way too many hours.. Before I had one I thought it would be kind of boring if xur sold one and I still feel the same way. It's a lot more fun when rngeezus visits you and gives it to you. Yea it's the best gun in the game but you really don't need it for anything... So I wouldn't be mad if he sold it but I just think it would be better if he didn't. That goes for anything that is still rare... The game is easy enough as is.

I'd be fine with it. Stronger community=easier raids. Got mine week 2. Only use it during raids.

xur did sell gjallarhorn once so rng isnt the only way people could have gotten it. plus its overrated, i have already had 6 gjallarhorns which ive dismantled all but 1. i never used it until the crota raid because it isnt much better than my normal rocket launchers it just has tracking which is unnecessary if you dont miss and the wolfpack rounds which i dont see doing much more than cluster bombs anyway.

RNG based game xur is RNG I don't see the big deal everyone paid for the game some ppl played 100s of hours to get some thousands is that fair nope but thats RNG...if I brought the game today got carried to lvl 20 but some gear to get 26 and get carried thru the vault or in a PvP game the same day and got ghorn would that be earned?

I bought it when he actually sold it, so I don't know the feeling of grinding for it. I imagine people who have been seeking it would be upset. I could personally care less though.

Because I xur sold g horn it wouldn't be rare anymore it would just be that overpowered rocket launcher that everyone has thus breaking the game

I wouldn't be mad at all if you have it you have it. I'd be happy because that means bosses will always go down relatively quick. No more tediously drawn out boss battles due to bullet sponge.

2 RepliesThe game would become to easy. Me and my buddy got 2 of his friends and we 4 manned crota normal with 1 Gjallarhorn. I was the only one firing. One person should not be able to make crota kneel. I don't want him to sell it not because others don't deserve it, but I want some challenge in the "end game".

I'm one of the chosen ones. I earned my 4 Gjallarhorn... Ok just kidding! I like the idea of everyone with Gjally but it will get nerfed for sure. I might sound rude but I don't want him to sell it. You feel like you unlock an achievement when you get this weapon.

Yeah, i have it, but i actually want him to sell it. I would rather the players on my raid team have it than not. Plus it would get rid of like half of the pointless threads on here. The only people who dont want him to sell it are the players who enjoy having it to lord over their friends....other players.

9 RepliesOk, my reason is of he sells gally, not only would PvE be flooded with em, but crucible for a week or so. That would make everyone complain, witch would eventually make bungie nerf, then Gallarhorn< No Land Beyond

Yep, thats why the only one who got it from my fire team is the one who died at the beginning of crota fight. His skills looking at us take him down was stunning.
