The same thing happened to me with icebreaker, but I didn't make the same mistake twice.

I started playing the Thursday before the g-horn Friday.

He sold them second week. I was 3 coins away and it took me all weekend to get them but I finally bought it. Best decision ever made

Needed armor more than weapons at that point. Or at least I though lol. 620 hours later still don't have it.

Ha! That's exactly what I did too. I ground out planet materials to exchange for strange coins before Bungie removed that option to buy the Sunbreakers. So mad I did that

I have it, very good weapon, you just jelly....but xur will sell it again one day then everybody will have one like the ice breaker.

Ha! I almost made the same mistake. I bought the helm of inmost light that week and I grinded the hell out of the loot cave for more strange coins for ghorn

I did the same thing. I just didn't think I could ever upgrade an exotic rocket launcher. I also didn't think I would want to use my exotic on a heavy slot since up to that point I hardly ever used them, lol

I still remember that day, I got the ghorn cause it looked cool to me :)
