Mythoclast Question! (Bungie read)
Will the vex mythoclast be able to reset in the new update? I want to upgrade mine, but i'm not sure if it is worth it due to the optional reset I will most likely utilize in 2 days time.

It'll be a random mix of exotics each week you can upgrade, not just ones sold by Xur. You'll need him to do it, but in the screen shot Bungie released they showed bounty exotics. I don't know if the vex will be included, but other non Xur sale weapons are.

4 RepliesThe vex is a raid only weapon and not sold by Xur. Therefore is stands to reason he can't sell the upgrade. So you will notice from the last update that it's attack is 323 which will be the same max attack for other exotics after December 9th. In other words it has already been upgraded for free. I Just got a second one last night which I plan to upgrade this week.

My guess is we will have to raid for a better one. I hope it can just be upgraded instead. And before someone says something about it maxing as high as the new weapons already, I have heard numerous reports of higher max damage on new legendaries/exotics. This gun is supposed to be better in some way.
