Should XUR sell materials for coins?
Bump for a yes.
This is for Spirit bloom, spin metal, helium & relic iron only.

They should make a constant merchant that is there when XUR is not there that sells things like legendary engrams and materials and all that for glimmer so that when XUR is in the tower you feel like you have more of a reason to see him, im a level 30 Warlock and I don't really have any need to see XUR. I am starting my forth character that I will be getting up and then probably getting rid of just so I can get things for my Warlock for when the first "DLC" comes out in two weeks. This is a fun game but sometimes it gets very, very repetitive. Opinions?

I think he should sell mats to cut down on the amount of farming. Unless your going on a bounty to do the 6 missions on that planet farming does get really old after your hundredth time doing it again. I think they said something about adding a way to buy mats from a vendor in either an update or the expansion pack.

I inferred from their last Thursday update that new vendors or current vendors with new material stock will appear selling them for marks. Which is fantastic. I honestly wouldn't mind buying 1 material per mark. I don't spend my marks anymore anyway. I have max Crucible marks and my Vanguard marks are up there as well. So while this may be a good idea, I'm just letting you know, that farming for materials won't be the only way to get materials for long.

We need to be able to do something with our armor materials, they became meaningless at level 20.

1 ReplyI thought they should give us the option when completing a vangaurd level 24 strike. We either take the few blue engrams or get the choice of a random amount (from 2-10?) of a random material. A vendor would be good or perhaps a consumable which shows chest/material locations on the mini map for a limited time.

they need a material trade system. I dont care about items i find mats hard as hell or annoying to get. Especially when your competing with others for them.

Yes. But why just XUR? It should be a material merchandiser in the tower. I mean, we have a max limit on 25k glimmer, so why not let us use it on something useful? Although it shouldn't be beneficial to buy over gathering. Conclusion: there should be a material merchandiser that sells material for an expensive price. Like 32 pices (two upgrades for armor) for 5k glimmer :)

Yes Yes YES! 5 strange coins gets you 50 material. I would pay that. Or even ten strange coins.

YES!!!!!! And this is coming from someone who has over 400+ of each one. That took me a while to accumulate, everyday spending an hour or so farming one at a time sheesh!

Exactly. I can buy the rarest weapons and armor in the game, but I cant buy some SPIRT BLOOM !!!! At least let me spend my 100+ strange coins on something useful.

Eris will be selling ascendant materials. I think that's what someone said.

Yes or a new vendor. With new coins that drop from crucible matches or at the end of missions/randomly in game.
