Any newer version of Borderlands definitely benefits by not having the super fast respawn rate of the original. There were countless times when I was still dealing with enemies in front of me…only to have those vicious skags come at me again. It was one of the reasons I preferred playing Lilith. The phasewalking skill often got me by enemies I did not want to face again. It is the most useful out of combat skill I ever remember playing. Oh I still enjoy the distinct Borderlands settings, humor, and play in B4. They did add vehicles for faster moving around the map and a more open world where you can go engage enemies. Reminds me a bit of patrol, which I always liked in Destiny. Makes it easy to play in shorter sessions where you just want to have some fun farming for guns and using new guns. Lots of replayability. B4 can be intense and challenging or just a fun romp through the vast new areas. Can’t wait to see their future DLCs, which often have more content than a major Destiny expansion.
