What went wrong with this game? I don’t claim to be good by any means, but week after week I commit hours to trying to improve in trials, consistently practicing with good load outs, practicing call-outs, learning maps, if anything my stats have declined more and more every season, across the last 10-15 games played I have had 3 games where my opponents have been under a 2.0 KD, I’m literally a 0.7, every LFG post is requesting a 1.5+ or offering paid carries, iv still taken myself flawless a handful of times over the years but recently there is no skill gap that could be close to fair, I understand the meta shifts and there will always be players better then myself but recently this game is unplayable, weather solo, duo or trio, please help me understand why consistently as a below average player there is absolutely no room to even learn to improve when the match making in Australia forces me against players with an average of 500+ flawless cards? Bungie you’ve destroyed this game for the casual player that doesn’t have time to commit 6+ hours a day to practicing or learning new skills Bring back skill based matches, give the players who don’t sit in the top 3% a fighting chance, the current match making guarantees that good players reset their cards to consistently find players who haven’t yet reached the lighthouse, it’s genuinely unplayable as a casual player
