I really love destiny to a certain extent but bungie is killing the game and milking old content. For those of us who have been slapped in the face previously from destiny 1 knows exactly what i mean. Vex mythoclast ring a bell ? Paid for content. Grinded ungodly amounts of hours. Earned the gun. Got it vaulted and taken away from us only to pay for new content run the same raid again countless amounts of times just to earn the same gun we previously earned. Now in 2022 the same bull crap. Why are we still paying for old content thats being recycled with new rolls on it ? Isnt that kinda illegal to resell us crap we already purchased ? I mean come on bungie you are killing this game for me and im getting sick of it. I think after lightfall im done. Im tired of investing tons of hours earning stuff just to turn around and do it again. I know alot of people will disagree with me and im sure alot of people will agree. The game is fantastic but taking things away from people or reselling old crap to people who have invested time into the game that they cannot get back just doesnt seem right or sit right with me at all.

Where there is a lot of grinding and a lot of repetition. Which is why they are best suited for players who have a LOW need for novelty, and can be content playing familiar content over and over again. Bungie didn't invent this. Destiny didn't invent this. What I think Bungie DID do, is attract a lot of people to this game who didn't really realize what it was they were signing on for. Because they were primarily shooter gamers, rather than loot-and-RPG gamers. Try playing Diablo 3. By the time you're done you'll have earned the same weapon dozens of times....just with different stats and names associated with it. But it is obviously the same graphical assest being reused. The only thing that Bungie is guilty of is not being candid with players that THIS is how these kinds of games operate. That you can't give players power, and let them hang onto it forever, without BREAKING the game through power creep. Other games just take that power away in a more seamless, and less visible fashion. But they most certainly take it away from you.
