LOL This Event
Bungie's event.... grind 48 Ketch Crashes or 148 Lost Sectors. At least the Drifter isn't promising to make you rich!
The fatigue has already shown up for most of the destiny community for this season. Why add to that. A patch will definitely be coming when not enough of the community does this event.
Will anyone participate or will this be a ghost town event

1 ReplyThe problem with the event aside from missing out on a ghost shell, there's no community failure. Even if everyone in the game stopped playing now, the event would still complete 100% because Bungie has a narrative reason for the Quarter to be completly rebuilt. If you care about the personal loot go for it, but the community goal will be reached without needing any player involvement at all.

3 Repliespeople like the people at bungie can't create, they just rehash the same ideas over and over again. that is why Hollywood is just recycling the same ideas too, trying to make money off what was, and not creating new imaginative stuff. it's all a grift at this point, and it shows.

2 RepliesI logged on to check what Eververse had for bright dust. Found the cool helmets for the armor set that people paid $15 for at the beginning of the season, lol. Then I saw the quest and thought “wow something new” until I saw they want us to run more ketchcrash and expedition. NO THANKS. This game consists of running the same activities until you basically hate them and despise even logging in. Bungie apparently doesn’t realize this. Looks like they took the Sony money, are probably under contract to maintain Destiny for some time period, then put it on auto pilot as an Eververse cash shop. We are real close to that auto pilot stage if not in it already. There is minimal design effort being put into Destiny now; it is mostly recycling. Lots of people are still in denial, though, because they want the game to be great.

Just unlocked second to last improvement, we’ll probably be done within 2 hours. A little over a day to complete an entire community event.

I did a glitch and im done with the event lol.

Luckily for them the glitch came in clutch and a lot of players already completed the event requests, so in the end they got some kind of partecipation
