What needs to happen IMO is for consoles to just flip the script and support KBM. That way, they can disable aim assist for KBM and level the playing field somewhat.
What makes adaptors silly on console is that you get KBM AND aim assist. Which is.... too much.
Considering that controllers cost $100, and often need to be replaced every year or two, it would in fact be cheaper is console players were allowed to use KBM.
Just my two cents though, I understand why this wouldn’t be appealing. If we begin the conversation of “your input device gives you an advantage,” there are already a plethora of legal input devices that give you advantages.

I mean, even on live people aren’t using all the same input devices. There are pro controllers, game pads etc etc. there’s already a plethora of ways to buy an advantage. Which is why I suggest allowing KBM support. Open the floodgates.

1. Stock controller 2. Button/stick add on 3. Scuf/elite controller 4. M&k 5. Usb hack That the order of “advantages” i view on console, going above #3 I feel requires additional parameters to exclude you from general pool or in the case of #5 should be deemed cheating and completely eridicated in some legal way. Obviously 3rd party hacking software is the most egregious way to gain an advantage but 99.9% of that is on pc which is why i NEVER want to play with/against pc players.
