Forsaken DLC quests not appearing
So my friends and I purchased the Destiny 2: Legendary edition earlier on, after I had already played the intro missions to all of the DLC's since the game makes you do that when you go to the planets that those stories are on.
My friends and I all downloaded the content, and then I waited whilst they both completed the into quest to Forsaken since that is only single-player. After they had finished it, I joined my friend's fireteam while he was at the Tower, and then he took us to Orbit and began the 2nd mission, High Plains Blues.
After completing this mission, when the 3 of us were meeting the spider, my 2 friends received a reward from Petra Venj while she had nothing for me, and then my 2 friends had quests to complete bounties for the Spider whilst I had no quests at all for this campaign whatsoever. I tried to just do the 5 bounties for the Spider, as it said my friends needed to do, but then afterwards they were told by their quest to return to the Spider whilst, again, I had no sign of what to do next.

I played the intro quests to all the DLC content using New Light, including Forsaken. Once it went free, the icon to buy it no longer appeared on the Director, but the next quest in the chain was no where to be seen. I was able to kick start the chain by visiting the Quest Archive next to the mailbox dude in the tower. It was available in the bottom right section labeled "The Past" (Quests related to past releases). Very sloppy handling of this, but hopefully people can enjoy Bungie's best expansion before they stupidly delete it.

SOLUTION! Seeing as a legitimate support account thought I had purchased and completed this DLC in 2018 (which I never did), I had to resort to simply making a brand new character. Fortunately, it doesn't take long to get to a high power level at all since everyone starts at something like 1100 anyway? So yeah, if you're halfway through the campaign like I was, but missions stop showing up and you have no real way to progress any further, you just have to make a whole new character, play through the base game enough so that you're able to join fireteams and go to the Tower and then you can start the whole bloody thing again :)

1 ReplyI've been looking through the DESTINY 2 UPDATE 3.0.0.1 of Nov 10, and it says: Accounts that do not own Forsaken will be able to pick up the remaining campaign for Forsaken from the Quest Archive vendor once they've purchased it. This might help you out to kickstart Forsaken again if you haven't tried it yet. It still didn't show up at the vendor for me though

1 ReplyI'm having the same issue! Migrated from Xbox to PC a while back, I already had Forsaken on Xbox (didn't finish it though). I played the intro mission of Forsaken (Last Call) when I entered the Tangled Shore a few days back, and today I decided to buy the DLC again. However, there are no Forsaken missions anywhere. The Spider only has Season of the Hunt stuff, there's nothing in the tower kiosk or with Amanda. I'm out of options and have no clue what to do
