It’s pretty crappy that the only way we can get finishers is to pay for them. I’ve never seen one come out of an eververse package and never heard of anyone getting one out of an eververse package. Would be nice if you could make some quests to go get one or if they occasionally came out of said packages

I'd like to see a finisher where you 1) hit the opponent with a pie in the face 2) give an explosive gift box to the target 3) use a hand buzzer to shake the target's "hand" 4) slap the target 3x with a glove All released April 1, 2020 at Eververse.

Bright dust bounties.

Do your chores, save up all those pennies and after a couple of months you can earn them from Eververse.

4 RepliesFinishers were added to the game simply for another product to sell at eververse. They serve no purpose at all.

11 RepliesYou can earn the saint finisher from the season pass.

1 ReplyBy packages do you mean Eververse engrams? If so, yeah, of course you’d never get a finisher from one of those. The engrams give you year 1 or 2 items. Finishers were brought into the game in year 3. You get a finisher with each season if you bought pass. Depending on your point of view you’re getting a bonus finisher each season, since you’re most likely buying the season to play the activity and farm the new weapons.

The finishers feel like a bootleg version of executions from For Honor, except that in For Honor you could either pay for them or grind for them. Now here in D2 you pay for them

No silver for everything. Next step is a daily log in fee of 1000 silver. Bow down to Tess Eververse, your queen and infernal overlord.

I’d like each title to have an associated finisher/emote that you unlock when you get the title.

2 RepliesYes it would. Another example of Bungie giving the middle finger to the player base. They actually Develop something new in D2 and then lock most of the new options behind a pay window. Sure you get your ONE finisher from the artifact. Why only ONE? Why does a player have to pay to get others? It’s not about making games players want to play. It’s all about making the most profit possible while delivering the least amount of in game content. FACT.

Love my Fist of Fury finisher, it was worth it, barely the price of a decent breakfast. Seriously. It’s really not expensive. Feels like nobody on the forums has any money yet can afford a $3500 PC rig every few years.

I’ve stopped thinking of this game as a standard game, and more as a mobile game. Sure, there’s stuff to do for free, but if you want to look flashy and have top notch stuff, prepare to dump a hundred+ dollars into the game. Stop expecting it to be an actual game, and you stop being disappointed. You also run the risk of stopping being interested, as I have, but I pretty quickly lose interest in mobile games then delete them too, so it’s in character for me.

3 RepliesBut, but, but, then we wouldnt be copying the fortnite model. Cause that is what they are after now just like all the others. Make game free but you have to buy everything in the game

they really dont do anything they dont even look cool not even drunk

Finishers were introduced solely to bring in more eververse $. Selling something previously sold for in game currency for silver will bring about negative player sentiment. This is not the case for new items as there is no precedent for them. It's why businesses need to clearly differentiate products if they are to re-price them.
