Just have both matchmade and non matchmade options for activities. If you don’t like dealing with randos in hard content you have the matchmade option. If you hate randos and have a regular group to play with then you dont have to play it matchmade. If its some kind of desire to have this “elite” player group, then completion rates of matchmade vs non matchmade groups will maintain your supposed deliniation. But for the love of god just give people the option. Its no skin off anyones back, people get to play what they want, and you dont have a mob of so called “non elite players” accusing you of making it harder for the general player base to participate. Its a win-win-win-win Don’t feel the need to entrench yourself in your own traditional Destiny game mechanics. Its how things stagnate
