Sooo....borderlands 3 bungie
No one else is going to say it so hell I will....
Borderlands 3 looks to be a actual destiny killer FOR MOST...players, Especially single players. Not saying it will kill destiny for everyone, but its possible destiny will take a big hit. [b]Time to go hard or go home bungie.[/b] Take a well deserved break, regroup, read the forums for good feedback, Come back with a game plan. But whatever you do be quick and be open with us.

But whatever you do be quick and be open with us.[/quote] Since launch week EVERY game has been a "Destiny killer". Division is good but didn't kill destiny. Anthem is...well, anthem. Warframe is pretty great but also killed nothing. It can't currently be "killed", because there's nothing out there currently that can engage players the way Destiny does. It has flaws, lots of them...too damn many of them imo. BUT it continues to deliver, maybe not exactly right 100% of the time, but it delivers.

Might kill Pitchford's career when he can't stop dickwaving on twitter about the epic games store, though. Maybe he'll have more time to practice his magic tricks. My soul dies a little when I think of having to suffer through the godawful meme humor again, too.

The reason Destiny was not up to consumers standards was because of the publisher. That's why Bungie broke off that partnership. D3 will compete with B3. Consumers are just so ignorant.

18 RepliesPeople will play Borderlands for up to a month MAYBE and guess what.... they will be back on Destiny right after that. Every game that has came out since 2015 (genre related) was said to be a “Destiny Killer”, and maybe for some people it actually was. But, my opinion, this game as a franchise still has another 3-5 years of life left.

Wanna know why it will never die? Cause people can play more than one game. I know it is a really hard concept to grasp but having so many games gives you choice. I play borderlands, anthem, destiny, warframe, MK11(on switch which was probably the worst choice of my life next to playing gambit prime solo in destiny. Gotta wash the pleb off me). You can play bl3 and destiny 2. Just dont buy year 3 dlc or destiny 3 until they prove they are learning

I will most definitely be playing borderlands 3 as soon as it comes out. But doesn’t mean I won’t switch over to d2 and play. We aren’t jailed by a single game. Lmao you people are wild
