Leave Telesto alone. (What did it ever do to you?)
As I'm sure a lot of people know, Telesto is a monster in PVP right now. It’s an exotic that can mutli-kill in crucible and is highly potent. Many of you must have come face-to-face with it at one point or another. Some say that it needs to be nerfed into the ground. To those of you who say so, stop. It is an excellent exotic that needs to stay where it is. Once it goes into that heavy slot, it’s forever screwed. It doesn’t need a nerf.
A few reasons why is Gambit. Great place to use Telesto. It can ad clear, it can melt a primeaval and it can be used as a viable invasion weapon. All rounded and if it gets put into the heavy slot, boom. It will never be viable for ad clear because it has no way to get anymore ammo. It can no longer melt primeavals because it has no ammo. It no longer a viable weapon for invasions because there are so many other better weapons. Though I’m sure a lot of people have not really tried Telesto in Gambit so I recommend trying to use it.
Please leave this weapon alone bungie. Instead make everything else up to par. Just leave this weapon alone so I and many others can use it.

Using Telesto means you cant use: Ace of Spades The Chaperone Sleeper Simulant or Queenbreaker SHOTGUNS (In General) Right Side of Wrong Graviton Lance Any Trace Rifles

Nerf that crutch. Got nothing against telesto, my problem is with crutches that inflate the k/d of what is an average pvp player just like the Graviton Lance did .

They can change guns and abilities separately these days. In pve its fine. In pvp its definetly not fine. All it needs is some tweaking. I would just like the range to be the same as a regular fusion and those exploding crackling balls should not kill a guardian that walks past them. Damage yes but a kill its just insane. A pvp game with a full team of telesto turns cruicible into "the floor is lava".

3 RepliesAs someone who has used it in pvp, it's a crutch. Only ppl who are trolling or need that crutch defend it. It has way too much range for a gun with no falloff, and the orbs last too long.

8 RepliesNerf Telesto to the ground or just remove it from crucible altogether .. Comp list players constantly and purposely stacking quickplay list in the 3,s or 4,s using Luna , Telesto just to stomp the casual players .. Crucible will soon become a ghost town due to the current cesspit of toxic players using this gun just to ruin other players experience..

Pvp has always dictated the sandbox so don't get attached to any weapons dude. Bungie don't listen to pve players.

All weapons are in a pretty good place right now. Telesto is fine. Shotguns are fine.

I think how long the rounds stay on the ground is the issue. If you land all shots, it should 1 shot, but the fact that people just cover the ground and it stays there for 2-3 minutes is the issue.

It is the pinnacle weapon for people who suck at pvp. No need to aim, hell no need to really even shoot at anyone. I could care less if it gets nerfed. Your still getting a shotgun to the face followed by the bags. Likely from the entire team.

10 RepliesIt’s all the little kids that play this game. They only know how to be a knuckle dragging shotgun ape. So when Telesto consistently kills them they cry for a nerf. When Bungie does their next rounds of nerfs the kids will be crying about sidearms or whatever is best at stopping shottys. You have to realize what your dealing with: spoiled, snow flake millennials who are to used to their participation trophies and getting what they want.

1 ReplyHonestly all they need to do is tweak the range. Make it so at 15-20m out it requires all of the bolts to hit for a kill. That way it still can one shot at all ranges, but requires good accuracy. But it gives people farther out potentially more time to react and defend themselves.

8 RepliesThe only people crying for a telesto nerf are shotgun apes, and kids who grab heavy and sit at the edge of the map like pussies. They're mad because telesto effectively counters their cheese ball tactics. It's fine the way it is.
