Wish 10 gives the last wish drifter dialogue and at the end he say that if he wakes up tomorrow with his voice in our head he’ll put a bullet in his head and his ghost. This confirms he has a ghost and is a guardian. In the past we didn’t know if he had a ghost or if he was even a guardian but now we know
-
Yeah I figured this one out a while ago, and I haven’t even done Last Wish yet. “They say the Scorn can come back from the dead.. kind of makes us natural enemies, huh?” And of course all the lore proving that he has lived countless centuries.

1 ReplyTHAT HES IRISH????????
-
3 RepliesI don’t want to see the drifter go, I dont care that he works with the Shadows of Yor, Even if he is evil, At least he’ll put up a good fight, Dont wanna miss out on Content Bungo amiright!
-
4 RepliesLook at your nerds following this. Bungie didn’t even make up the lore. They had some asshole come in and make all this shit up on the spot there is no story to destiny, unless getting duplicates of every item you have over and over counts
-
4 RepliesNah he’s a survivor..as soon as the shît hits the fan he disappears..why do you think all of his old fire teams are dead??
-
3 RepliesHis title card said it all. Rogue Lightbearer. He was always a gaurdian and most likely a warlock from the looks of it.
-
We always knew this.
-
He's not a Guardian. He's a Lightbearer. A rogue one too. So he doesn't fit into a class and he doesn't defend the city. However, he does have Light-based powers and a ghost. We knew this right from the beginning. But let me get one thing clear: When you see the words "Lightbearer" or "Risen", that is someone who has the power to wield Light and has a ghost. But they are not Guardians by default.

Edited by NobodyJustBrad: 10/27/2018 4:12:11 PMYou can have a Ghost and not be a Guardian.
-
His lore cards already told us that
-
What does failsafe say? I'm so curious
-
He’s called Rogue Lightbearer, which means he was a guardian.
-
4 RepliesAnother instance where "we" is actually just you.
-
4 RepliesWe have known a lot of his backstory and it is very clear he is gaurdian. But now we know we he still has his ghost and didn't lose it
-
It’s been mentioned that he’s a Guardian. His title when you walk up to him is even “Rogue Lightbearer”.
-
4 RepliesThat’s pretty old news. He also doesn’t have a class. Shin says that he doesn’t conform to those boundaries.
-
One of the gambit armour pieces mentions his ghost with him as he cleans up after annihilating a cabal squadron with 9 primevils simultaneously.
-
Edited by H1vac: 10/26/2018 12:51:45 AMWas a guardian. He shed that name a long time ago, “Guardian”.
-
5 RepliesWhat class/subclass though?
-
9 RepliesI think he is, in the game, titled "Rogue Lightbearer". Also the Gambit weapons speak of him and his former comrades and their shenanigans with their ghosts.
