I miss D1
That’s it. Just miss it. Thought it was so much better than D2. I wish we could just have had big expansion:/

D1 is still the better game, I swear two different companies made both games. D2 should have never been made and they should have kept expanding on D1

3 RepliesHere's the thing, why does anyone have to miss anything??? This was supposed to he the first game of it's kind as a 10 year progressive game. It isn't bc they have erased content, rinsed content, and repeated content as reskinned items or even maps. Graphics improved, sure, but why not the 10 year game??? And don't tell me it isn't possible with all the updates we get anyway. New engine, ok, you can still move characters and items forward. We should not have to choose to lose character progression, weapons, armor, and items just bc Activision and Bungie are greedy whores. That said, game is still viable but it will die eventually. Eye candy only lasts so long. Players that joined in D2 will feel the sting D1 vanilla players felt when D3 is released. Watch the forums then. P.S. I miss my Icebreaker.

I haven't since Forsaken dropped but I like to still jump on D1 and run strikes. Some good ones in there for sure.

I miss it too but D2 is in a good spot right now. Sure it’s not as good as Age of Triumph but it’s up there.

3 RepliesAmen brotha. They gambled with vanilla D2 and lost. I just hope nothing like that happens again. They should continue to build on D2 as it stands, and bring back even more D1 content too.

To be fair I went back and tooled around in D1 a couple weeks back and I realize I was just looking at it through rose colored glasses. There were still a ton of issues with D1 when D2 came out, but D2 regressed so much it made it feel like it was so much better and we forgot so many issues.

16 RepliesLol the good old days when I had my teenage years to waste on that game. I find it funny how the cycle goes. Those in d1 who had time barely do in d2. Those in d2 will face the same issues in d3 and so on. People age but the game stays

I think for the first time in 3 years, I actually prefer a new release other than the taken king, Forsaken is everything I hoped for and more, I hope they build off of it.
