When i first got a hold of these weapons; I immediately fell in love with their versatility and all around fun mechanics. I got to see the original be improved upon and was greatly elated; the changes were solid and in a very good direction. That being said; there are a few tweaks i would like to suggest; which are not meant to be a "buff" but more as "Quality of life" changes. -- 1. Return of the ability to pick the starting "Core"; while maintaining "The Fundamentals" ability to switch element by holding the reload button. Hard light originally had this feature; minus the "Reload Switch"; While not an overall issue; having the gun reset every time you revive or get teleported to the "speed run" fireteam; tends to be a bit tedious. 2. Reducing the amount of screen space the Hard light's ADS frame takes up or a lowering of the RPM down a tier. With a 100 on the recoil direction along with the weapon taking quite a bit of screen space; It becomes quite hectic to use it while aiming down sights. Reducing its fire speed would also ease a bit of tension with the issue of too many particles to display. Another possible suggestion is the integration of a "Revving" feature; starting out at 600RPM while slowing down to 360RPM as the light gets "Harder" reach its peak penetration and ricochet probably. But that would be near overhauling of the weapon. 3. This last one is just a fun suggestion and likely not possible without overhauling Borealis; While "Ionic Return" is active: Crouching and holding down the trigger could "charge" and shoot the remaining ammo on the clip in one go; with a self balancing feature like: Damage, x, Ammo, -%15 per bullet. It would be fun to be able to make it into a quasi rail gun; but im clearly day dreaming here. -- My hope is that; these suggestions help or motivate twoards further improvements on these two weapons that are very satisfying to use.
