Weapon quest to difficult for people with disabilities.
So I'm trying to do the black spindle quest line and I can't do the jumping puzzle because I have nerve damage and tremors in my hands to trying to make the jumps is virtually impossible for me and when I do it with people they don't want to play with me because they don't want to keep doing it because I keep failing. Will there ever be a fix for this for people like me or am I out of luck?

3 RepliesUse share play bro. Digitally hand your controller over to buddy to do the jumping puzzle, then he gives control back to you for the damage phase. Pretty simple way around your situation without having to ask Bungie to change the entire mission to cater to you.

Unfortunately for you, there's not much that can really be done, short of just making it easier for everyone, which isn't something they want to do, at least not for this sort of content, as they want it to be difficult, even for players without disabilities, to do.

1 ReplyOut of luck. I don't want to have to say that, but Bungie has no real way of fixing this without dumbing down the activity, and they can't do that. If you're having hard hard time with the jumping, you're going to have a hell of a time with the ads and bosses, because you'll need to be constantly moving around. It sucks that the reason you can't do it is because of something out of your control, but on the same note. Not everyone is meant to have everything. Sometimes, you just gotta deal with it. I do wish they had some sort of trading system in Destiny, so that problems like this could be alleviated, though. Probably won't ever happen, though.

5 RepliesThere has been similar complaint by others with other disabilities.. Im afraid bungie has no way of "fixing this" for you.. how would do they do it? Ruin the experience for the minority? And I am not saying that to be mean or rude, but people with your disabilities are in the minority.. if you really want the weapon, I suggest waiting. People will get higher level and get stronger and hopefully will be able to carry you, so you can take your time with the jumping puzzle.

Can't you use something like a cronos max or whatever they are called to smooth out tremors? I mean even if it isn't possible right now, could it be possible? I know you can get software for a pc mouse that can filter out some of the shaking.

2 RepliesIf they added 'respawn restricted' (which I think they don't have) and the first person who gets to the room with all the adds dies and causes a wipe this quest wouldn't be as bad for those who aren't too good at jumping. The wipe would cause the whole team to spawn at the furthest part, problem solved :) On the other side I kinda get why they don't: "it's a [b]challenge[/b], it's supposed to be difficult. You just need more practice. Need to know it better...etc..."

I think you should be able to get two people with black spindle to help you. I helped my friend and i solo killed two bosses while the other two focussed on one boss. Black spindle makes it easy.

2 RepliesHave sort of the same problem... precsion jumps are nightmares. Did all raids and loved them in D1 but can't bring myself to even ask people to do raids with me in D2. (Own Black spindle). I find it sad cause FUN weapons are FUN!!! That's why I want them regardless of needing them in raid lairs or not. If Bungie are clever enough.... they would be able to invent new raids and secret quests that not exclude people due to "minor" problems. I suck in crucible and totally fine with not being able to play Trials and getting it's rewards. With almost 7000 hours spent in D1/D2 combined it's pretty obvious I like the game. There is so much content I'm paying for that's beyond my reach at the moment.... Trust me, if this was something that I could "just get better in", I would already been...

So you play this game & everything is cool, but suddenly they introduce jumping & you can no longer do it. Get over yourself.

I'm sorry to hear that. Not to mention how hard the bosses are. I wish they'd make it where you can pull people forward. For the time being try to see if someone could run the jumps and try to pull you forward. Because I can't see bungie caring like some of us do tbh.

Take your time and simply get there in time is my advice. The first two rooms can be done with two good players who know what they are doing and coordinate. The final room will take all 3.
