YO... THESE HEROIC STRIKES?! I'LL PASS.

I can understand increasing the difficulty, but this is some The Division 1.3 bullshit here... The modifiers are vague as hell. "Solar burn increased..." But void and arc splash damage/laser beams kill instantly too. "Melee Damage Increased..." But I need to melee twice to kill them. They melee me [b][u]ONCE[/u][/b] and "Guardian Down". And you want us to do [b][u]THREE[/u][/b] of these Strikes??? Just for Zavala to give us another Origin Story or Nameless Midnight? Get the fucc outta here lmao. It's called [b]BALANCE[/b], Bungie. We asked for Heroic, not Prestige. [u][b]EDIT 1:[/b][/u] If these "[i]Recommended Power Level 350[/i]" strikes awarded "[i]Recommended 350 [b]GEAR[/b][/i]", these Strikes would make more sense. If the Milestone Rewards were impressive and not repetitive, less would kick up a fuss about doing them.   • I play Titan and must admit I’ve never used my barricade so much. I absolutely love the difficulty, as stated more than a 1000 times the rewards need looking at.

  • I wouldn't have been mad if they could get me to 355 with mods, in fact I would gladly play them to reach 355. A week ago I could melt everything and get rewards at max light (okay that was too easy and wrong), but the fact that they are much harder now and the rewards are actually lower than my current light level, well, that feels even more wrong and bad. TL;DR Buff the rewards to 350 and I'll be happy.

    There are three modifiers per week. One burn, one advantage, one disadvantage. The burn applies to all sources with that element. The advantage this week makes our grenades do more damage and recharge faster. The disadvantage is increased melee damage - not for us, for the enemies. If Blackout is active, you should not be getting within melee range of the enemies, if at all possible. Your melees will still do normal damage, but the enemies have one-hit melee kills. When you select heroic strikes, the third modifier shown applies to the enemies, so plan accordingly.

      I am enjoying the difficuly as it's a good challenge after being so easy for so long. But I do understand your feelings. There should be a much bigger incentive at the end. Been saying it for ages bring in strike specific loot, a lot of it and it wouldnt seem so tedious. Hope bungie brings in the loot rewards as nerf is not the way to go. It's heroic for a reason. Put on the correct burn weapons and be at least 350 light and it's more than achievable.

    • For the first time since d1 I have been enjoying doing strikes. I get frustrated a lot specially when we wipe with the boss having 1% health but as soon as we finish the strike it feels good. Hell, these are more difficult then the normal nightfall for some reason. Only bad thing about them is that the reward in the end is bad but hope they fix it.

      • I like the challenge don’t care about the reward I play to play not for rewards, it’s got to be better than just walking or running to the end knowing nothing is gonna seriously challenge you. I understand your argument though, a lot of effort for no reward. At least there should have been a chest at the end with either a weapon or armour specific to that strike. To keep the guys like yourself running them. But I don’t care so I’m not that bothered I like them. I’m just sick of a destiny that is a walk through. Not dissing your post btw
