This just In: Nova spammers salty over tether spam response.
Whats more sad then a nova spammer? a losing nova spammer. use your suppressors and tethers. if bungie wont do anything about exploiting skilless losers, we have to.

1 ReplyGod i love the shadow shot, i have always used nightstalker in pvp before mayhem. You all are right though, the exploiters in my games have rarely been very helpful and mainly just throw bombs to little effect. However the morale is so low in the community and bungie is already dealing with such a suffering small playerbase now that i doubt they can afford to ban all these people.

7 RepliesAll nova spammers should be banned, but we all know bungie is just going to let them keep playing, complete violation of the terms of use and bungies response on twitter was no one will be punished its their fault. The glitch may be their fault but these no skill losers make the choice to use it and should be punished accordingly!

I use nova on my warlock but I don't nova spam 1 point per kill is trash. I just use mine when it's up.

It took no more than two matches for me to get sick and tired of constant tethers......so I switched to Nightstalker. I don't get to have fun, so nobody else gets to have fun either. Everyone's a winner.

Shooting a slova bomb with golden gun cancels it out. So I say just put in six-shooter and hold down the trigger.

6 RepliesFunny thing is, all games I've been in where the other team are using the exploit they've lost terribly. The game counts the kill as a grenade kill and only awards 1 point. Where I think an actual super kill gets 3 points?(correct me if wrong) So really the exploiters are penalising themselves just to spam a super.

5 RepliesFind the tether spammers more annoying then the nova spammers tbh. Its just to easy to do. Mayhem should be fun but instead those Hunters like to shove a arrow up your ass and stop you from that. Its the same about the Nova bomb spam. Its just to easy to do, even tho i dont want to think why someone would play with controls set like that. You really need so many nova bombs to do even slightly good? It says more about the people using these things. And i have to admit that this doesnt stop me from entering Mayhem, but could be nice to find matches where people dont rely on this to win. Altho lets not forget that mayhem is not about winning, but having a big chaos of fun for everyone.

1 ReplyBest way to counter Nova spam is to be a Goldie and keep your distance. Slow-va is terrible for hitting people at range so if someone tries to map you with it you have more than enough time to either pop the Nova with Goldie or to run away.

4 Replies6 shot golden gun and the colony feasts on those measly nova spamming locks. I've never lost to a team with even 1 person spamming their nova bomb and they're always at the bottom of the leaderboard. It's only trash cans that do it.

What's really funny is, they don't care it hurts their teams. Worth less points because it's a grenade kill, not a super kill. I always report to XBL since Bungie won't do squat.

Someone said they acknowledged it and will work on it after the holiday but I looked on here and twitter and couldn’t find a response to the nova situation. It does make the game not fun if they’re constantly spamming it. All the Eververse whiners are covering up the real bugs in the game and they’ve already acknowledged that
