When I win, I MSG everyone GG
When I lose, I MSG everyone GG
But I mostly get these in return
* Go kill yourself Scrub
* GG you try hard prick
* Go play Trials Retard
* Suck my Balls
* I hope you get AIDS and Die.
I don't Tebag durring matches because that just like saying F You to someone but people will Tebag me. When I send them a MSG after the match I get about a paragraph of hate and how the world would be better off if I just killed myself.
Am I really the only one who is Nice in game?
Edit: Not being Salty just worried that this game is going to turn into the Overwatch Comunity and become Extremly Toxic
-
It's because the only remaining D2 player base consist of 5-13 years old players who are insecure
-
I never message. Even if they message me talking trash. When it comes to pvp I'm only playing it to complete the milestone.
-
My two rules are this: If I get messaged, no matter how salty or nice, I reply GG. And if anybody dies, dip dip potato chip.
-
5 RepliesI always wave before a match starts,sadly no one waves back.
-
you stick with being nice bro,things will start to get better in a couple of days when they go back to cod.
-
2 RepliesYou’re not the only one. I never Teabag, and while I will dance occasionally, I try always to do it in a celebratory manner, not a taunting manner. I would recommend not messaging GG when you win. Even if it’s meant to be a show of good sportsmanship, it’s often perceived by the losing team as rubbing your victory in their faces. Messaging GG on a loss is good form though. I would say I’m surprised you get hate for that, but then again this is the internet, people will give you hate for anything and everything.

Your balls (or muff) are another weapon. Tbagging (or clam slamming), drives opponents to irrational behavior. (This mother -blam!-er is tbagging me!) That being said, I'm usually too busy trying to stay alive to tbag people. Unless it's end of round in Trials.
-
How nice of you Not many people go out of their way to express themselves. Good etiquette is the necessity really. But nice that you do this, sorry for the hate you get
-
Nah, I still see the occasional "GG" message from time to time, so you're not alone
-
People are just rude in general. I’ve had to deal with all that too. Plus of course the camping accusations. I think the nicest thing I do anymore is protect heavy ammo until a teammate can get to it.
-
As much as I don’t message anyone after a match I generally aim to be nice. It’s just annoying when there’s that one person on either side who’s a dick... Like one match I had a little while ago, about half way in it ended up being me vs 3 for whatever reason - I played as best I could and still did decently but they had a power play almost the whole time and it ended being something like 32 - 70 something if not a larger gap. Even so it got to the last minute and 2 of my opponents decided that it wasn’t worth the fight and so did I. So we danced and waved at each other, someone used their super and I backed away... but then in the last 30 seconds the third player comes along and kills me cuz he’s a dick... the one that popped their super went to attack him though, in a way to say “you’re a dick”. Other than that it was a nice match.

Thats really sad. But its also a little weird to mess ppl after every match to say anything. Sounds to me like ur seeking attention. Just think most of the time ur messaging kids under 15. The only reason u should message someone is if ur looking for a fireteam. Other wise u just come off creepy and clingy.
-
2 RepliesI sat down for half of a match with someone on the other team... that counts... right?
-
I message gg when we all played an actual good game. I get gg in return, with a thanks most times too. *shrugs*
-
2 RepliesPeople take gg as git gud now
-
5 RepliesOnly a wierdo messages everybody after a game. Psycho
-
r/niceguys But why would you message everyone after a game? If there was a chat...yeah cool, but pm'ing everyone? Seems pretty weird.
-
I'm nice till someone decides to be a prick first or I get that Lil camper hiding around a corner with a shotgun or sword.
-
I don't send messages, If someone makes an exceptional kill on me, I bow after I spawn( even though most don't see) Rarely t bag( there are moments when a spoon team kills me over and over, but I'll get a kill eventually. My deaths should b worth a bag there) Bow at end of match( win or lose) What's funny is throughout D2, seems everyone in pve and pvp bow, dance, and have nice interactions( I'd guess cause they are happy there is anyone else playing at same time)( I'm serious, supposed to be millions, but take a gander when yur in either mode; lucky to have 2 more at an event ON the flashpoint planet. Still takes forever to perfectly pair 4 randos against a full fireteam( I've caught it breaking up a match with 6, just to remove 2 and put a full team against the randos) /golf clap

3 RepliesNo one waves back anymore...

I think if the players did crappy or the other team lost they might take it as you rubbing it in. I don't message anyone but if someone on my team goes for the power at the same time unless i'm on a roll i will let them get it. if we are destroying the other team I will back off a little at the end of the match. I don't teabag unless someone does it to me more then once. I had a warlock teabag me 3 time yesterday and it finally got to me so i killed his whole team and teabagged all of them. I try not to be a bum head in the game but sometimes you just can't help it.

Welcome to the internet.
-
It's Teabag not tebag
-
You play Crucible?
-
Certainly in PVP. One reason why I hardly ever play it. High obnoxious player content.
-
That's part of the reason I don't bother with PvP nowadays, it's toxic. I only have so much time to play games. I don't need to spend that time on drama and BS. I play a lot of co-op nowadays, exclusively with people I know. When I do play PvP, it tends to be private. I think the big exception is Overwatch, as Blizzard has made that game feel insanely friendly.
