When I win, I MSG everyone GG
When I lose, I MSG everyone GG
But I mostly get these in return
* Go kill yourself Scrub
* GG you try hard prick
* Go play Trials Retard
* Suck my Balls
* I hope you get AIDS and Die.
I don't Tebag durring matches because that just like saying F You to someone but people will Tebag me. When I send them a MSG after the match I get about a paragraph of hate and how the world would be better off if I just killed myself.
Am I really the only one who is Nice in game?
Edit: Not being Salty just worried that this game is going to turn into the Overwatch Comunity and become Extremly Toxic

4 RepliesYou are lying! this community is the nicest and most mature community ever, people respect your opinion and is extremely helpful! Go kill yourself, scrub... and git gud
Welcome to destiny my friend and don't kill yourself, i hope you know i was joking and being sarcastic about this community
-
I’ll occasionally message out GG if the game was particularly fun or tense
-
1 ReplyDestiny forums have some of the most toxic people around dude, just keep being nice karma's a bi*ch.
-
"GG" is slowly turning into an insult you know..
-
2 RepliesI wave and dance. Most players are too concerned about their precious KD to participate in my fun. Most will kill me and run off. I've even been teabagged by the "victorious" player. There's way too many tryhard douchebags playing this game from their parents' basement.
-
It's political - if your team stomped the other team, it's not a great idea to 'gg' them. They'll likely assume you're adding insult to injury. I throw a 'gg' to anyone when the game is close, esp if I'm top of my team. If we blow them away, I might 'apologize' for shit matchmaking or something. I've never gotten any vitriol when I send a postgame message... Unless I tell a bagger to stop being an ass. Then they get salty. lol

1 ReplyYeah there are some real bad asses hiding behind their PS's and XBOX's. They talk tough but are just a bunch pussies. Had someone message me to help em with a nightfall. Me and another joined in. We missed it the first time barely but bout 1 minute into the second try he bailed on us. But me and the other guy stuck it out. We didnt make it but still made a new friend. Some just take this way to seriously. But why ask me to come help then go and bail out? phhht

5 RepliesAs in the real world (I.e. not the Internet one), people suck. I communicate as little as humanly possible with them.

Alright my man I have the most simple solution for you. A lot of meaning is lost through the means of text, for example many people can determine my introduction as condescending, but in fact I’m really just tryna help you out! After playing FPS for so long I have come to understand the community and how to set off other players... it’s kind of a passion( especially in r6). The nature of sending a person the message of “good game” may have origins in respect but it has lost all that meaning as an introductory statement. I’m doing so it may seem to the other player that you think yourself above them... so I recommend adding in a little preliminary text to the gg. Something like: “Yo man that was a tough match gg!”
or just call everyone a nerd no matter what
Kill them with kindness. Some people are just pathetic.
-
wow. I pretty much only message 3-4 man FT with a "Good Game" cause I'm lazy. but most times I gte positive feedback. last night had one that went into overtime, messaged one of the stacked 4 man we were against a good game. ended up with 2 new players on my friends list.

Embrace the sack. Come to the dark side!

Competitive gameplay is pretty toxic. If you were being civil and they were not, feel free to report them as such.
-
T-bagging is ok when you kill the Titan spamming FoP right before he gets to you!! Truly a BAG worthy event. Dip Dip Potato Chip!
-
Do they think you’re saying “Git Gud?”
-
I got a GG message the other day, it was a great match right down to the wire overtime and everything. I sent back "ya great game, get you next time" I guess that wasn't you lol.
-
I use to tell people GG but idk if I can still do that on pc
-
Honestly don't bother, the odd person might take it for what it is a genuine person saying good game, enough people will think your being smart assed and saying they did sh*t and being sarcastic unfortunately. It's sad when the community suffers from these kinda people so heavily, it's why the gaming community has such a bad name around non gamers similar to how bikers are often treated. The odd 1 or 2 in a 100 creating a bad image for the masses.
-
I'm with you! It's called sportsmanship and there isn't a lot of that around anymore. Sore losers and braggers are everywhere and not just in video games sadly.
-
Eh...I usually don’t message peeps unless they just outplay me constantly. I’ll just send them a quick “hey! You’re a badass man.” I don’t respond to hate mail. Tea bag only when t bagged. And I’ll typically only emote if I pull off something crazy.
-
Shoot you message people? Usually I’m too busy praying that it will only take me 4 crucible matches to finish the weekly so I don’t have to play it for the week anymore!
-
I don't message unless we really wreck them
-
4 Replies1: I don't message anyone shit unless they message me. 2: I only teabag those that teabag me first 3: MotherF*** all you assholes that see me standing at Heavy ammo and try to slide me out of the way. If you got there first, I let you have it. If I get there first, back the f*** off.
-
Respect. I message gg as well no matter if its a win or loss
-
1 ReplyI prefer the no messages unless there's a good reason. Also GG can stand for Get Good, so there's that.

It's because the only remaining D2 player base consist of 5-13 years old players who are insecure
